His face was as red as a tomato, and he hung up immediately. He turned around. “Well, dreadful news. I’m truly sorry Drew. The battle is preponed so that it’s about in an hour. Vocksworth is destroying the town near us and he’s coming closer and closer. He’s at his castle right now so we should take advantage of this and attack him as soon as possible.” worried Ghim. I was speechless. All my confidence was lost as sweat flooded down from my head and palms. My knees were shaking as quick as a hummingbird, as my heart felt explosive. I saw Ghim collapse on the floor and go down onto his knees. He started crying as Javier pat him on his back. We stepped outside and I grabbed onto Ghims shoulder as Javier held onto mine. Ghim massaged his temples and closed his eyes. Out of nowhere, we teleported. There it was, Vocksworth castle that stood about ten yards in front of me. His castle was jet black with skull heads placed around it. His entrance was filled with torches and I was amazed as to how large this was. I was about to say something to Ghim so I turned around. He was gone. Javier was gone as well and the only thing left on the floor was my wand. Millions of butterflies swarmed around my stomach. Now I couldn’t get some last minute advice. However, I thought about the rewards, and what it would do to me, so I took a deep breath and courageously walked in. As soon as I walked in, there was a humongous empty black room with about fifty pitchforks pointing towards me.
I look at the wooden door opposite of me, I walked towards it and pulled the iron door handle and walked towards the dark abyss before me as I once again head out to challenge the
“Uh, yeah! Sure!” When I knew I was l alone I ran all over town looking for the source of the snow. I finally found it at an abandoned warehouse just outside of town. I waited a couple of seconds before saying something but before I could, someone spoke.
*Slam*. The door shuts. The room was silent, you could hear a pin drop. Leah left and I heard the car start up. We’ve never gotten in a fight like this. Tears started streaming down my face. The tears started streaming down my face harder and harder by the second. AGHHHHH I screamed. I slowly got up from the table the chair squeaking making the same sound it made when Leah left. WOOSH. I think that was the fastest I’ve EVER turned around. I saw a small shadow. Nobody else was home. but there was still a shadow? I walked around the corner…nothing. I ran upstairs and WOOSH again. I checked my bedroom and Leah’s bedroom. There was nothing in there.
The tea kettle began to boil in the background and your ears were quick to drown it out as Hibari grabbed your thighs and hiked them up around his hips. You pulled away from his lips and took a breath of fresh air, your nails raking down his back as he pulled you impossibly close. His dark eyes bored into yours for a brief second and you were suddenly subjected to the torrid emotions swimming in them.
After I spat again from my mouth, I noticed him leaning inwards to my face. He had propped my head as blood dribbled down the corners of my mouth. He held me in tight desperation. His eyes divulged his regrets for our failed mission.
“We need you to go to the castle and slay the dragon. The dragon is connected to Merlesa, and if so slayed, the queen will fall, resuming the season change.”
Upon closer inspection I realized that it was a torch burning in a corner, and that the substance on the wall was blood. I didn’t know where it came from, but I heard sounds coming from further down the hall. I wiped the blood off and went to follow the noise, which now sounded like screams.
My eyes stung and my body trembled, I softly kissed his shoulder that was sprinkled with purples, then laid my head down. We would be in pain together. And while that was a selfish thought, it comforted my to know I wasn't making a mistake.
“Mandy, you met her at the faculty awards. She’s planning a trek up Mount Elbrus next year.”
His heart began to beat faster and faster. He could hear the pounding, the roaring of its fear. His chest tightened and he struggled for breath.
Ringing the doorbell several times, Karen screamed, pounding on the door, she yelled, “Wake up Dan. Wake up, Dan! I need your help.”

“We will be back at twelve. Don’t let any strangers in and let the dog out when you can,” said my mother. “Okay. I will, bye. love you.” I said quickly pushing them out the door. “Julia will be home around eleven to get her bag for Raelynn's house,”my mother said as she grabbed her purse. “yes I know. Bye!” I said once more.
She was scared, lost, and confused. Anyone could tell simply by looking in her eyes. As she stared out the window, Margaret could see it all. She saw every fear spelled out in the woman’s eyes. Margaret’s heart cried out in pain as it broke into several pieces.
Nat pulled a stool forward and sat down, leaning forward put the cigarette up to the top of the flame, the flame lapped at the cigarette for a while until the end glowed red like the embers of the fire. Nat withdrew the cigarette from the flame, put it up to his mouth, hesitating then sighed and gently put the cigarette in between his lips. It hung downwards, as he drew in a deep breathe, allowing the smoke to fill his mouth, he gently blew out and watched the blue-grey smoke filled the air around him. “Tomorrow, during the next tide, I’ll have to go out and see if there are any survivors,” Nat sighed, “If we can find anyone maybe they’ll know of a safe place.”
