Absolute Truth Since the beginning of time, there were quarrels caused by the disagreement between two sides just because no one was aware of what the truth in fact was. Public thinks that truth is relative because every one can look at it from a variety of viewpoints; however, there is only one absolute truth no matter what people declare or consider truthful. We all know that there are numerous implications of word truth, however, knowing something to be true doesn't automatically qualifies as being the "truth" until we can validate, have a sufficient amount evidence to support, and believe in it. …show more content…

In spiritual truth the verification as a rule is experience, which distresses metaphysical matters, meaning that your own evidence may only be true to you and no one else.

Truth may be independent, when a proclamation may be false if everyone believes it to be true, or vice versa. When a statement is either accurate for everyone or no one, then the truth is public. Truth may also be eternal, when a statement is either always true or always false. [3] What was true in the past, is true today, and will be true tomorrow. Oscar Wilde once said, "The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple".[4]

All of us are unsure whether there is such thing as truth? Each religion has its own claims to truth. Christian's argue the truth is that God is real, and that Jesus is the Son of God, who came to Earth in human form to save the human being from their sins. Members of Islam state there is one God, who is Allah, and Mohammed is his messenger.[5] Sikhs claim that God is inside every person, no matter how immoral they appear, and as a result everyone is capable of transformation.[6]Buddhists do not believe in God, and Jews believe they were the chosen ones by the
