In my interview I had the pleasure of conversing with an individual that was not only an adult learner but now also operates as an adjunct professor for adult learners at a university. Some might not realize the parallels of adult learners and yet still there are vast differences that impact both. It was refreshing to find an individual that was able to succeed as a professional, a student and most recently a professor at the same time. My goal is to introduce you my amazing interviewee and paint a vivid picture of his journey, his growth and through his challenges along the way. Surprisingly this interaction was able to take a lot of excuses and reasons of why a person would be to busy to go back to school.
The interview process is something we have all gone through in order to get any job. It may not be our dream job but it is a job and we all have to do this process in order to even be able to start working. In Katy Piotrowski’s article “Preparing for the Job Interview: Know Thyself,” she explains everything that you need to know and not know when going to a job interview. Graduating college and having a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing is what I look forward to doing in the next two years. I will be discussing myself applying for a position in the nursing department. Being the right candidate for this RN nursing position in hospice care requires a lot of hard work and dedication, and that is why I am a good candidate for this position.
It should be noticed that in the recent few decades, the science developed at an astonishing pace, and the problem of substance abuse cause a huge public concern. Currently, substance abuse has already become a pandemic around the world. It costs individuals substantially, and it of their family as a whole. It is essential for the society to help those people who struggle with drug addiction to get rid of their pain and get back their health and balance life. Therefore, I understand the substance abuse is a tough area, and people who are struggling with addiction really need help. During the course of the interview, I

Arc of the Ozarks is a local human service organization providing help to people in the local communities with physical and mental disabilities. The main local offices for the Arc can be found in Springfield, Joplin, and Monett, Missouri. Interviewing someone from the Arc could have been done over the phone, by e-mail, and an in-person interview. The in-person interview seemed to be more appropriate because it would allow me to interact with the people who work for the organization and possibly see interaction with clients. Interviewing one in person also helps to show the kind of dedication put into the work provided by the organization.
Recent advancements in technology offer the organizations of today and the future boundless opportunities for improvements in service delivery. Although experts agree that the alignment of technology and the overall business strategy is both necessary and imperative, no clear path to optimum alignment exists. Christopher Nuckles, a IT Director I interviewed demonstrated full awareness of this fact. he and the company’s CIO, Matt Carey, and the executive IT leaders and displayed optimism the “interconnected retail strategy” they have for the company will ensure that Home Depot remains the product authority for home improvement. As part of the technical team that developed, enhanced, or supported several of the technological systems at Home Depot, Nuckles believes that the key to a successful technological future is innovation. Nuckles recognizes that the biggest hurdle for the Home Depot technology is the emerging e-commerce and he adds that Home Depot is ready for the boom. He explains that plans are underway to optimize the Home Depot mobile application entirely and make it available on all platforms so that the company remains relevant as technology keeps advancing.

My interviews with Jane took place in Damen Student Center on Loyola University Chicago’s Lakeshore Campus. My main goal for my learning about older adults is to overcome my fear of aging and the elderly. I have always been nervous around older people because I feel that the process of aging is scary since it is an inevitable part of life that means you are closer to the death. By talking with Jane, I hope to realize that older people are of value to society, and that they can contribute a great deal to the world at large. My three biggest challenges with this assignment are 1) worrying that I’ll offend Jane with some of my questions about aging. I know she is elderly, and she knows it too, but I still want to be sensitive about it. 2) I want to make sure I obtain as much information as possible during the interview while maintaining a sense of dignity and respect. It is sometimes difficult to find a balance between the two. 3) I also want to have the opportunity to ask as many questions as I can so that I can gather as much information as possible during our time together.
For this project o had to think of person whom I knew was at least 60 and that I was comfortable enough talking to. The person who best fit this criterion was my neighbor George West. Mr. West was born in June of 1941, and is 73 years old, he has served in the Vietnam War, was a detective for the CIA for a little bit, and then decided to settle down with his family here in El Dorado Hills. He as a very interesting past that I would would be really interesting to talk about and learn about. I talked with Mr. West at length about his experiences and perspective in the war, and how this had a direct influence on him today, and what it was like seeing history occur before his eyes, and social trends of today are seen by him. I essentially aimed to learn more about the Vietnam War, Cuban Missile Crisis, and other earlier Cold War polices. I also asked him a lot about his experiences wight he CIA and a lot of the work that he did with them and how that has changed his perspective on American culture today. This premised a talk about many historic events that also happen to be terms such as the Watergate scandal, his experiences and views on the the Space Race, as well as the social climate during the assassination of the President Kennedy. I capped this riveting discussion of with Civil rights, and his role at the time, as well as how he was major contributor and what he though about the process.

To learn more about the process of aging, I have decided to conduct an interview with a man who is approaching his sixty fifth birthday in the upcoming December. The main goal of this interview was to gain as many knowledges as possible on aging from an older adult. For the sake of this assignment I will address the interviewee as Mr. P. P is the oldest sibling of three sisters and two brothers, who all grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia and his father passed away when he was only ten years old. As the oldest child in the family, P had the responsibility to be the backbone of the family and support his siblings at a very young age. P had the privilege to attend elementary school from the first grade until sixth grade before deciding not to pursue
We are going to look at the use of interviewing techniques by those who investigate. As a result of interviews conducted after accidents and criminal offenses, the interviewer must be able to analyze witness statements in order to translate witness observations into facts and create logic from confusion. The interviewer must have an understanding of those factors that affect witness reporting. The gathering of witness information comprises about 50 percent of the investigating technique, the remaining 50 percent hinges on the ability of the interviewer to analyze and apply his or her knowledge to the sometimes
CM Gilmore conducted a phone interview with Tara Whitaker regarding the family of Katie Vorhies. CM Gilmore explained the reason for the call. Tara reported the following:
Conducting interviews is fundamental as a case manager. In order to understand more about good interviewing, I decided to watch an interview about an addict mother conducted by Dr. Phil.
