Dubbed audiovisual programmes, especially news and alike, are also sometimes deprived of credibility. Although information are communicated to the audience, the communication is not full due to lack of proper intonation, stress, rhythm and volume which are needed to express emotions of the speakers and convey information about the context. What is more dubbed contents do not contribute to foreign language learning and the development of listening and comprehension skills, whereas subtitling does. The second of the most evident disadvantages of dubbing are the costs of the process. Sketchily counting a translator, production assistant, actor(s), director and a recording studio are necessary. Even nowadays dubbing is 5 to 10 times more expensive than subtitling therefore in some countries only animated movies for children are dubbed. The third evident disad-vantage of dubbing is its duration. The recordings usually take a great deal of time, not to mention the time needed for all the modifications and synchronisation. Positive sides of dubbing are that it makes it possible for children that cannot yet read to watch foreign productions and that it does not distract the viewers attention.(Tveit 2009:
