Brown (2016) explains that Super has extensively written and influenced the topic of career development. It is hard for even the most educated person to grasp all of his successes in the field. Super segmented his theory into propositions. His original theory was divided into ten propositions, but later added fours. The new four propositions were not added as 11-14. He added them into the existing ten, which allowed him to elaborate more on the pervious steps. As any good theorist, Super continued to build on his knowledge throughout his life.
