Reality star and businessman Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President of The United States on June 16, 2015. “Sadly the American dream is dead,” Trump said. “But if I get elected president I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before (qtd in “Donald Trump Jumps In”). Trump plans to do so with campaign slogan ‘Make America Great Again’ (TRUMP MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!) America will be great again with Trump as President for these reasons. He is pro-life, against gun-control, and supports illegal immigrants returning to their countries (Project Vote Smart). These issues are important to me and my reasoning as to why I back Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is against one of the biggest talked about issues in the United States; Abortion. Although Trump hasn’t always been pro-life. He was claiming to be pro-choice from what he wrote in his book The America We Deserve back in 2000 (Novielle). Donald Trump said he was pro-life except in the cases when a pregnancy endangers the life of the mother or is the result of rape or incest (qtd in “Would Donald Trump Be a Pro-Abortion president?). From all of this voters are confused as to if he would be a pro-abortion President or not. Either way I stand with Trump if he is “considered” pro-choice from what he said or pro-life. But clearly he is not for abortion.
“All they want to do is blame the guns. And it is not the gun that pulls the trigger” says Trump during an interview (qtd on “Trump: I will ’Unsign’
Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign has come at a time after having a president serve for two terms. Americans are eager for change. Donald Trump promises to be the change to fix the nation’s concerns about foreign affairs, and immigration
Abortion is very serious issue that’s why abortion has become a debatable issue in U.S politics. Recently the republican candidate Donald trump said in the news “The sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. The party, advocates for a human life amendment to the Constitution and endorse legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to unborn children.”(Boguhn 1). Donald trump said in the news the unborn child have the total right to alive and these restrictions have to become part of laws. Additionally, he is also against the legal rights of abortion Trump said legal rights of abortion should change from the U.S laws and make secure and supportive laws for unborn children lives.
Republicans are red, Democrats are blue. I will not vote for Donald Trump, will you? Me personally, I do not think Donald Trump should be president. Donald Trump has done many outrageous things, and I would like to consider running for president as one of them. Many would consider this a publicity stunt. I say he just wants to make a fool of himself. There is a time and place to take things as a joke, this is not one of them. It is as if Trump does not care about his overall presentation, In majority situations it is okay not to care what others think, this is not that. This is presidency, you are in a race to run the country and here he is being racist, and being selfish. If he does care about one thing it is immigration. That is probably the only thing he cares for.
On June 16, 2015 Donald Trump officially announced that he was running for president of the United States. With his solange being “ Make America Great Again”. Trump is a republican and is a supporter of the Republican Party. His political stand point is often not looked positively throughout society. A republican is someone who believes that every person is responsible for their own self within their surroundings. They are opposite of the democrat party. The democrats are basically the people who supported slavery oppose to the republicans who did not. Both sides have many different opinions on the government. From taxes, social issues, free trade and labor laws, health care, and etc. Trump 's vision for america is way different than our current president Barack Obama.
George W Bush’s presidency can be associated with an infamous term that stood out from the State of the Union address, that term being ‘Axis of Evil’. In this context, Bush categorised the countries of Iran, Iraq and North Korea as being ‘evil’ states. This neoconservative comment left little doubt as to what Bush’s foreign policy towards these states was going be (Baxter and Akbarzadeh, 2008). This comment would then define George W Bush’s presidency, due to the controversy over this phrase and the results that it would have on US foreign policy as “rarely had such a rhetorical device had such devastating consequences” (Ansari, 2006:186). This paper will argue how the use of the word ‘evil’, and the categorisation of these ‘evil’ countries, had a large impact on US-Iran relations.
Trump seems to be changing up his story and even seeming to forget his stance on abortion. In 1989, Trump cosponsored a dinner that was honoring a former president of the NARL (a well known pro- choice organization) and later did not attend because of threats from pro-life supporters. Then again in 1999 Trump did an interview with NBC, he was asked about his stance on abortion and his answer was clear, “I’m very pro-choice.” Somewhere between 1999 and 2011 is where we start seeing inconsistencies in Trumps “personal” views. During the first presidential debate in 2015 he tells a story about a child that was going to be aborted but was not and how great the child is today. Implying that he has shifted more towards the pro-life side of the spectrum. Then later on in 2015 during a Jake Tapper interview for CNN, Trump was caught off guard when Tapper stated, “I know you’re opposed to abortion.” Trump responded, “Yes, I’m pro-choice.” Then when he was asked if he was pro-life or pro-choice he said, “I’m pro-life, I’m sorry.” Finally, in 2016, his ideas are fully radicalized and he is advocating punishment for women who chose to get
Does Donald Trump have what it takes to be the next President of the United States of America? A president is someone that is “elected by the citizens of a republican state to be the head of the state.” Someone that is dedicated to their country, cares about the well-being of the citizens, and makes plans that will improve the country rather than destroy it would be considered as a good President. Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York to Frederick C. Trump and Mary Macleod Trump. He had a privileged childhood being as though his father was a real estate developer who constructed and operated apartments in all parts of New York. In 1968, he graduated from the Wharton School of Finance with a degree in economics. Over the years he built hotels and other establishments that all failed at some point. Donald Trump does not have what it takes to be the next President of the United States of America because he has no political background and he is only focused on how much money the country can gain if it takes away from other countries. Donald has been given everything he owns at other people’s expense.
What makes someone a good candidate for president? Someone that can “Make America great again” which brings me to my candidate, Trump. Donald Trump is more of a businessman than a presidential candidate, but we could use the business aspect in running our country today. The amount of debt we are in is a major problem and I believe Trump can help by producing jobs and make a plan for even after his presidency. Throughout this paper, I will inform readers on Trumps background and what he believes in. Also, I will inform readers on a few things he wants to do for our country to “Make America great again.” Another is the history of Trump and how he has switched from Republican to Democratic parties multiple times. Finally, about some of the major arguments on why he should not become president.
In 1999 Donald Trump stated that he would not ban late term abortions if we became president . By the year 2000 , he said that he changed his mind about not banning late term abortions . After this around the year 2011 he came out as a pro life and by 2015 he mentioned there was certain exception . The exceptions cases are rape, incest, or when the life of the women aborting is at risk .
If Donald trump wants to make America great again then he will do it no matter what difficulties occur. He will strive for a better image like himself, which is what America needs to show to other countries. Showing that we are built strong and no fear happens when America is
Donald John Trump. Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. Two very distinct, ideologically diverse individuals. Both in the running to become the next President of the United States. The current president, Barack Obama, has served as a dramatic foil to his own predecessor George W Bush. But if elected, how will Clinton or Trump run the office? Political scientist Stephen Skowronek assesses the history and actions of the presidency in his book The Politics Presidents Make. He distinguishes four types of political identities, reconstructive, articulate, disjunctive, and preemptive. Based on their expressed ideologies and goals for the future, using Skowronek’s ideals, one can determine what kind of president each candidate could be.

Client is an American politician, and is the 2016 Democratic Party nominee for president of the United States in the 2016 election. From the very beginning of his campaign trail, Donald Trump piqued America’s interest with his blunt and oftentimes shocking statements. With his candidacy came exclamations of making America great, building walls, deporting illegal immigrants, and keeping jobs in the United States. A Google search
Will Donald Trump fulfill America’s request and actually “make America great again”? When friends of mine who are Trump supporters inform me that they support him, I don’t understand the reasons why they picture him as our future president of the united states. Donald Trump has never been an elected official. He has never been elected into an office of any kind. He’s never had to broker political compromise or gave any political speeches prior to him running for president. With no experience in politics at all, why would people think he’d make a good president? Sure, Donald Trump is a barefaced self-promoter and experienced businessman. But people don’t realize all of the mistakes he has made as a businessman. Washington, D.C., is not a type of Wall Street or anything for him to lose money or make some reckless decisions that would put our country into a deeper hole that we are already into, and also getting multiple things done within the nation’s capital takes more than a huge personality and a strong will. If Donald Trump is elected to be our president, he’ll have to quickly learn how to deal with his Democratic associates in the House of Representatives and Senate. He’ll also have to get used to the pace of government because there are moments when things can accelerate pretty quickly and also where things can move extremely slow at times. He’ll also have to get used to giving speeches on topics he may not be interested in, especially when it comes to conversations
It is with my greatest pleasure to congratulate you on this accomplishment and position! After years of planning, advertising, campaigning and organizing I understand the relief and gratitude you must be feeling after such an emotional election. Although this job is a dream, I must be honest and tell you it has its moments. At times it is going to seem like more downs than there are ups but with the right team, confidence and strategies you will be able to conquer these next for years with a breeze. Giving the time frame you are working in and the time frame I worked in I can relate to you with trying to please everyone. There are going to be incidents where you are not going to please the majority, but president to president that is not what it is important. What is important is doing what you believe is the right thing to do and follows the laws of our country, that is why I am here writing this to you to give you some tips of mine. August 4th, 1964 may have been one of my most chaotic and stressful days in office but being personal with the people of this country, working with your team in the office and staying calm when being thrown multiple things at once is how I managed to deal with this day in the most appropriate way I thought was possible.
