AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING!
The question is not, "Can they reason?" nor, "Can they talk?" but rather, "Can they suffer?"
Did you know that over a hundred million animals get injured or die due to animal testing? But when you think about is it actually legal? So the thing is it doesn’t matter what we think because there are people who want themselves to live a better life then the animals and they do experimentation on the animals just so humans can live a better life. And there are a lot of animals who die due to suffering in laboratories across the world, apparently it’s legal and people seem to not care about it. Some people say animals aren’t equal to humans and some say they are, so who to believe? But it still

And so animal testing is still bad because animals have as much rights to life as humans do, so it proves that it is violation of animal rights.
Finally in conclusion I would say people should be against animal testing because it is an issue of animal cruelty, it is also selfishness, since
Human Society International has conducted many studies over the years and found that animals used in experiments are force fed , subjected to water dehydration and physical exhaustion, or inflicted them with burns and wounds, using other torturing methods to check that the medicines or anything that companies will sell us
An issue that is hotly debated is about animal testing. It is clear that overall animal testing should not be allowed. It shouldn’t be allowed because animal testing does not even do much to the humans, because it can hurt or kill the animals, and finally because these animals that are being tested aren’t being protected the right way. Even though that other people could say that animals are a great replicate of humans and can develop cures. Also they could say that it helps less people get sick, it kills the animals by the scientists not protecting them. Overall animals shouldn’t be tested on.
Animal testing has been a controversial topic for many generations throughout the world. People against animal testing say that animal testing is cruel and inhumane and
Do you love animals? Do you think using animals for testing is good? Well scientists and vets test on animals to find a way to cure diseases like cancer in humans. If the tests fail the animal has to die or they will get really ill. They even use cosmetics on animals (they apply makeup on them.) Some countries ban animal testing for cosmetics. Animal testing is torture for animals and should be banned everywhere.
Animals very rarely serve as models for the human body. Many people are brought up with the idea that animal experimentation is necessary to insure the safety of humans, but in reality, these experiments are creating only harm to animals. Animals have done nothing to deserve this backlash, and by educating the public on the true unsuccessfulness of animal testing, the ethical side is forced out in the open. The argument ‘Animal Testing is Bad Science’ by the People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), argues that ethics dictate the value of each life, and that no life is overthrown by another. This well formulated argument effectively integrates ethos, logos, powerful structure, and robust premises to persuade the audience.
Animal testing is wrong and it is cruel to animals. Each year about five million dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, monkeys, and other animals die in lethal dose tests performed in many states around the United States. During a lethal dose test, the experimental substance is forced into the animal’s throats or is pumped into their stomachs by a tube, sometimes causing death by stomach rupture or from the
Millions of animals suffer due to effects of testing they must endure. This testing is usually done unethically and causes major harm. It’s wrong to harm animals for the sake of testing products for society. Furthermore, animals are living creatures just like humans and should not be treated differently. While testing animals may be cheaper, it is morally wrong and causes many harmful side effects in animals.
Animal testing has been bad of the years and it can even be dated back to the ancient times of the greek. Physicians would dissect animals with the pure interest to obtain knowledge. But even then, one such physician stated that he would rather use a pig as his subject because he wanted to.The ethics of animal testing has always been questioned. Humans do not want to think of animals as on the same level of us. The similarity is terrifying and makes the cruelness obvious. In the 16 century it has been recorded that early vivisectionists, scientists who perform experiments and operations on live animals, did not consider animals to be of the same lineage of us and barely cared for them. The remaining are used as test dummies for products.
Regardless of the devastating facts behind animal testing, supporters of using laboratory animals argue that without animal testing it would be hard for researchers to guarantee that drugs and medical procedures are safe for use on humans (“Update: Animal Testing”). They are ignoring the animals’ well-being. If scientists were dissecting live humans, people would be disgusted and call that murder. Animals and people may look different, but we are both living things. Animals are just unable to speak for themselves, so scientists choose to treat them like inanimate objects, as if their
Specific evidence points that animal testing should not be allowed; however the debate is also on moral grounds. Several people, about 60% of the population, agree that animal testing should be banned because it is just wrong. To be born into the world on a concrete floor and be made to lead a life with no freedom is worse than having no life. They have no chance to stop the pain or torment, simply because they are “just animals.” Animal activists and everyday people believe that humans are voices for the animals. Therefore, animal testing is considered ethically wrong and people should act as the advocate for the animals.
A major issue that is happening all over the globe is animal testing, it’s cruel and inhumane because animals suffer in pain. From the book Rights For Animals by Deirdre Rochard it said “Most people believe that animal rights should extend as far as
In conclusion, animal testing is wrong and it needs to stop. These animals are dying from things that can easily be avoided. The animals that are tested on don't always bring accurate results. People have talked about their experience with being tested on, yet we continue to use animals. These animals are innocent and most of them only know life I'm the testing facility. That is no way the
Animal testing should end because its harms the animals, other things can be tested instead of animals, it costs more to test animals, and the results in animals can be different then the results in humans which can be really bad and it can harm humans. It also can cause birth defects to babies who are born and people think it will work on babies because it works on animal babies.
There are a number of reasons that animal testing should not be supported, some of them being
Animal testing is very wrong, but at the same time is right. I personally think is very wrong. An estimate of 26 million animals is tested every year in the United states for scientific and commercial testing. Animals are used to develop medical treatments, to see how medications work, to check the safety on products made for humans, and for health care uses. Experimenting on animals was happening since 500 B.C. Some people think experimenting on animals is cruel and wrong. Also that animals are so different from human beings. In other hands, people say they are able to develop numerous life-saving treatment for both humans and animals.
