The Holocaust had a huge impact on Anne and her family. Anne house was taken by the soldiers of the Holocaust. Anne and her family had to hide in the back of a store where her father worked. Anne only had one sister , Margot, who were good friends. The Frank family was not the only family hiding in the back of the store.
The other family who was also hiding in the back of the store were the Van Daans. The Van Daans family consisted of three people Mr. Van Daan, Mrs. Van Daan, and Peter Van Daan, their son. So, now theirs 2 whole families living in the back of this store. But later on more came Dussel, Miep, and Kraler. Kraler doesn’t stay there, he’s just a trusted customer. But in all that all of the people in the household get along.
Both Anne and Margot are very similar in some ways. One way is they are females. Similar to both of the kids, they both also have the equally alike parents. And they both passed away in January of 1945.Those are some similarities of the two but they have their differences too. Margot is three years older than Anne at 16 years old.

Anne is very apologetic, while Margot is quiet and not really talkative. Anne has a crush on Peter, and Margot is more intelligent than Anne. Now I have listed some similarities and differences between the three. Now I will list some similarities between the three.
All three of the kids are teenagers. Because of the Holocaust, they all stay together. All of them are intelligent. And finally all of them will do anything for their parents. So there are the similarities and differences between the three of the secret Annex inside the old spice factory where her father
Anne Frank was one over a million children that died during the Holocaust. The Frank family was in hiding for quite some time before they were found. The Nazi's finally found them and took them to concentration camps. Anne Frank went to a total of three camps. At her first camp, she, her sister Margot, Mrs. Van Daan, her mother, and other people that were hiding with them immediately got separated from the boys in their family. One lady that worked at the camp told Anne she would never see her father or anyone ever again. Anne and her sister Margot always stuck together. Sadly though, Anne only made it to three camps. She died at age fifteen. Margot was the only one who made it through the whole war. She recently passed away in 2010.
an emotional man. His parents were owners of a shop and his two oldest sisters
Through the past couple of weeks, I’ve read these two very interesting books; “The Diary of a Young Girl” by Anne Frank and “Summer of My German Soldier” by Bette Greene. These two books are told from the perspectives of two young girls, who struggle through life as Jews. “The Diary of a Young Girl” is told from the perspective of Anne Frank and “Summer of My German Soldier” is told from Patricia Bergen’s perspective. Anne and Patricia have many similarities, but they also contrast in some ways too. My goal is to show how they are similar and how they’re also different.
Peter, Anne and Margot have many differences and One of them are Attitude. Peter is very outgoing towards some people. While Peter is outgoing Margot is a shy and to herself type of person. There ages are way different to and they have different types of favorite parents. Anne is the youngest out of Peter and Margot and she is her dad, Otto favorite. Margot is the second oldest out of Anne and Peter, but she is her mom, Edith favorite.
Among the on million of the children killed was Anne Frank. Anne was a Jewish, teenage, girl who's family went into hiding. They stayed hidden for over two years in their Secret Annex. Over the course of these two years, she kept a dairy that has now been published. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl had been translated into over 60 languages and is read and studdied world-wide. She began the dairy at age thirteen and wrote her last entree at age fifteen. The majority of her diary talks about her time spent in the Secret Annex which was the back part of a spice warehouse owned by her father previous to the Neurenburg Race Laws. The Franks lived with another family, the Van Dann's, and another man named Dussel. On August 4, 1944 German officers stormed the Annex and arrested all families. They were then taken to a transfer camp called Westerbork. They spent roughly one month there before being moved to Auschwitz, a consentration camp. Once off the train men, women, and childern were all separated. That was the last time Anne saw her Father, Mr. Van Dann, Dussel, or Peter. This is when the dehumanization began. People working the camps strped them of glasses, jewlery, shoes, and anything else that made them a individual. In addition to this the Nazi cut their hair and put them all in uniforms so tthey all looked the same. After anther month of
What the short story and the short film have in common are that Margot still get bullied by her peers because she has faint memories of the sun. They both take place in the same setting and it rains all year except for the one day when the sun shines. In both, margot gets locked into a closet which leads to her not being able to see the sunlight. The film and the story are fairly similar and have many similarities and many differences as well.
Now even though Anne Frank and Gerda Klein were different people and they had different personalities, their lives had things in common. For example, They were both taking to a concentration camp and they were both planning what they were going to do once they were saved. They both had high hopes for their future, like Anne wanted to be a great writer who would be remembered even after she died. Both of their friends either died or were killed at the concentration camp. They were both surviving on little or no food for years. Gerda was a human skeleton when she was found by the american soldiers. These were just a few of the major similarities that I found.
One thing they have in common is they are all where home schooled. They all believed in the star of David religion. They are all Jewish kids or teens living in the secret annex with other families. They all died differently. However, I think this is where the similarity between the three teenagers ends.
In the Diary of Anne Frank, the two characters I chose to compare and contrast are Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan. These two ladies are similar and different in many ways. They are both middle aged women that live in Amsterdam. When the Holocaust began in 1939, Mrs. Frank and Mrs. Van Daan moved into the secret Annex with their families.
During the holocaust there were 3 teen agers named Anne, Margo frank and peter Van Daan. Anne is 13 years old and peter and Margo are 16 years old. Peter is the only sibling in his family but Margo and Anne are sisters. Peter has a cat named musty but Margo and Anne doesn’t have a pet. Anne and Margo are Mr. and Mrs. Frank. Peter is the child of MR. and Mrs. Van Daan.
Many people were hurt by Adolf Hitler's plans and one thing he achieved was killing six million Jewish people including children. Anne Frank and her family were one of them. They lived in a secret and tiny annex where Otto used to work. They started off just going to stay there for a few months till the Allied Forces could invade Holland but that didn’t work out. In the drama wrote by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett eight people crowded into annex for 2 long years not being able to go outside. Many historical events were impacted in the drama Anne Frank. Even though these problems took place outside of the secret annex it changed the mood and relationships of the character.
From 1933 to 1945, Jewish people lived in fear, not one was safe. In the horrible time of the Holocaust, Jewish people of all ages and conditions were harassed and even executed. The Frank family, consisting of a father, mother, and two young daughters, were tortured during this time period. One particle family member, the youngest daughter, legacy still lives on today. Anne Frank was both a hero and a victim of the Holocaust because she was forced into hiding, her loved ones were killed, and her diaries impacted many.
The Holocaust can connot to Anne Frank because of Germany rounding up Jews it made them go into hiding. Anne went into hiding when Hitler first started rounding up Jews to put into camps. Anne Frank then brought the Van Danns into the Annex to hide with them. They had all sort of connections to people to buy food for the annex.
Have you ever heard of the Holocaust? The Holocaust was a terrible time in history when Adolf Hitler was torturing many innocent Jews. He put them in concentration camps, but many tried to hid just like Anne Frank and her family. Anne Frank who was Jew, has a famous quote that says “In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart.” Even though throughout the “Diary of Anne Frank” we see that people are not always the best they could be, I agree with Anne and believe that everyone is still good at heart. One overall reason I chose that people are really good at heart are the acts of kindness Peter has throughout the book to Anne. However, I do know that there are two sides of an argument, I can see how some might
I think that Margot from “All Summer in a Day” is knowledgeable because she knows a lot about the sun. “They were all nine years old, and if there had been a day, seven years ago, when the sun came out for an hour and showed its face to the stunned world, they could not recall.” Margot was knew at her school and she remembered the sun when the other kids could not and margot could explain what the sun looked like to them and some of the kids didn't believe her, this makes her knowledgeable because she knows how the kids will most likely react to the sun. “She knew they thought they remembered a warmness, like a blushing in the face, in the body, in the arms and legs and trembling hands.” Margot knew that the kids tried to remember the sun and she also knew that they thought that they remembered but margot knew they didn't because of the way they described it. “They surged about her, caught her up and bore her, protesting, and
