10. The Road Back Arista looked back at her mother’s sad little house sitting on top of the hill from the dirty bus window. She knew she would never get a chance to see her loving face again. After being attacked by Abaddon, she knew that the human world was too dangerous for her to stay long in. Screech… the bus came to a hard halt. “Last stop ladies and gentlemen,” barked the old husky driver. Wow, what a quick ride, she thought to herself. She popped up from her torn, scratchy seat, and practically threw herself down the rusty metal steps. Arista spread her arms wide, and smelt the fresh breeze. Restoring the world “Gee, it has gotten awfully ugly around here,” Arista commented poking at a used laundry detergent bottle. Even from the few days that she was gone, her home had drastically changed. “Ya, Dad has been really depressed lately about it. I wish I could do something to help.” Said cecilia with clear sorrow in her normally chirpy voice. Arista glanced over at Ray, who was normally bouncing off the walls, yet today he stood still. “I really don’t know what to do Cecilia. If only we could move it all somewhere or make into something else. Wait, I have an idea!” Arista exclaimed. She closed her eyes and focused on the bottle. She then, flicked her wrists inwards, then all of the sudden, the bottle started glowing. When the light darkened, a soft, pink jellyfish emerged. “Arista! How did you do that?” shouted Ray, while Cecilia stood frozen with her mouth open. They two gazed at their older sister in disbelief. Arista really could find a way to restore their cove, without polluting another area of the ocean. She tried again, this time turning a Sprite bottle into a small guppy.
