As the aspiring trainer, I would like to learn how to measure my learning outcomes both quantitatively and qualitatively. There are myriad strategies for conducting formative and summative assessments around the corner. However, I should be able to identify and implement the appropriate assessment method suitable for learners with different abilities, gender, age and professional background; Linear with the aim and objective of the programme and the learning outcomes expected. To add on, I should also be able to interpret the assessment results in maximum possible ways and means to be able to feedback learners accordingly. As well as use the data to modify/improve the session plans, activities included, and instructional teaching techniques for continual improvement of my programme effectiveness as well as my teaching strategies. Assessment for learning was practiced in my training rooms via numerous activities like Q & A, minute paper, role plays, written test, learning journal, simulations and demonstration throughout the programme. I realized that session objective is the subset of programme objective. Thus, in one of my session, the objective was to measure leaner’s cognitive abilities like:-  Product knowledge and understanding capabilities  Applying their learnings into the given situation  To summarize their learning. For the above said reason, I decided to give written test. Consequently, learners earned an opportunity:-  To think and write their answers
