This objective was fulfilled by:
1. Defining project, project organization and project manager.
2. Identifying the roles and responsibilities of the project manager.
3. Pay scale of project manager’s job,
4. The qualities that a project manager must have.
Methodology and Framework of the Study
This study will be done through an extensive desk research. Firstly the available literatures will be collected from all possible sources. Most of the articles reviewed in this study were published in the most prominent journal covering articles on business issues .Then the main matters that ignited huge research interests among the researchers will be identified. Limitations
The limitations of the report is not very much wide .There may be some difficulties to collect the actual data regarding the roles of the project managers, most of the data’s will be theoretical not practical and conflicts seems to be a necessary side effect.
Literature review
For doing the report I will go through in different project management related national and international books, related journal and various articles. Except these data’s will be collected from different web sites. Gantt chart for the report

Over the past few years, project managers and Project management has shown tremendous growth. Project management has evolved over the past several years from an activity in an organization to a discipline in its own right. Many professional bodies exist today to represent project management as a discipline, Some of which include, PMI, Prince2 Foundation, PM Bok.
The paper is divided into three sections, the first of which will establish a timeline of events. This project background will serve as a case study for the analysis in the following section that will be structured such that each of the previously mentioned facets will be independently analyzed and contrasted with project management principles. Finally the paper will conclude with a summary of the analysis and recommendations based on
Larson, E., & Gray, C. (2010). Project management, the managerial process. (5th ed., p. 158).
In the current business environment, the demand for project managers is ever growing. In short, project management is a provisional project constrained by time, cost and scope (A guide to the project management body of knowledge, 2013). Between the immense organization, optimization, and communication assets skilled project management brings to a project, it is easy to see why project management is a booming field of study. Furthermore, project management can be both financially and personally rewarding when long term milestones and goals come to fruition.
‘Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements’ (Project Management Institute, 2009, p12). Once a project has been approved a project manager is assigned to the project, and ‘is expected to integrate all aspects of the project, ensure that the proper knowledge and resources are available when they are needed, and ensure that the results are produced in a timely, cost-effective manner’ (Meredith and Mantel, 2010, p5). In order to allow this to happen there are several key aspects of a project which need to be carefully thought out and controlled.

Executive Summary Project management is the science of planning, organizing, executing, and managing the resources needed to achieve a specific goal. Effective project managers (PM) strategically facilitate the entire project management process to ensure the project’s success. To do this the PM must adequately meet the specific requirements (i.e., time, scope, quality, and cost) set forth by the project and its stakeholders. It is theorized that PM must possess a set of core competencies in order to successfully manage a project. Those competencies are development of project management knowledge areas, application of appropriate project management tools and techniques, understanding of the project
I will begin this report by defining what a project and project management actually is. This is a good place to start this report because it avoids any confusion towards the end where more complex jargon is used to show knowledge and to explain future points.
This paper was prepared for Fundamentals of Project Management, Module 2 Check Your Understanding taught by Dr. Levern Eady.
In this paper, I, a student of University of Phoenix will explain and discuss project management. I will address three main points. I will first answer what is a project. Secondly, I will discuss what are the basic phases of the project lifecycle and their purpose. Finally, I will explain why it 's important for organizations to use project management to accomplish tasks.
Question 1. The twelve guidelines are presented in no particular order. Order them by level of importance and explain your reasoning. Answer The twelve guidelines should be order as below, the reason also is stated at the behind of each title. 1) Understand the context of project management. Much of the difficulty in becoming an effective project manager lies in understanding the particular challenges project management. 2) Understand who the stakeholders are and what they want.
The purpose of this paper is to recommend that Project Management is a concept that focuses on the dynamic characteristics of a multi-facetted organization. In such a changing situation, effective communication is a characteristic that should be stressed and becomes the most important tool for the project manager and team members.
Project management is not only useful in the working environment, but it could also become great skills that can be used for all life projects that we do through out our life.
In order to achieve their business objective, project management and the used methodology are key factor which will be responsible for the success or failure of this project.
This paper describes in brief the responsibilities involved with the project management. It also states the minimum educational qualification, skills, certifications needed and the salaries given to people in this role in today’s world.
