This is the way that I define the life cycle of a claim for a CMS-1500 form. In my view, it is very important for a medical biller and coder to know the proper life cycle of a CMS-1500 form. 1. First, there is the General office processing. 2. Then the coding department processes the claim. 3. The IT Department then processes the claim. 4. The insurance companies adjudicate the claim. 5. Electronic deposits are made to the posting department. Payments are posted to accounts and balance transfers take place. Then the checks are deposited. 6. Then the follow up department processes the claim. 7. Three patient statements are sent. 8. Finally, the collections of delinquent accounts take place. If the biller and coder does not know the
Payments will be made at either Centralized Disbursing (central cite) or the DMPO (remote site). All payments, except for emergencies (Death Gratuity and Gate Payments are currently the only two designated unless otherwise directed by the Commander/Director), should be made at the central site. The only terminal designated as remote is the DDO’s desk and will be used to make input of checks printed at the DMPO. Input and certification must be made at this terminal (DDS), i.e. if a payment is input on a remote terminal it must be certified on a remote terminal. Terminals not designated as remote are used for input to the central site.
The United States government operates under a federalist system meaning that there are two or more governments who share the same power over one geographic region. In this case it would be the state and federal governments. The 10th amendment of the U.S. Constitution summarizes the idea of federalism, stating that “The powers not delegated to the US by the Constitution, nor prohibited by the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people” (U.S. Constitution). This means that the federal government, whose jurisdiction is very limited, has jurisdiction over some thing while the state government has jurisdiction over
What I have learned about CMS1500 and UB-04 is that they are both forms for medical billing purposes.

The process of developing of an insurance claim will be essential to the healthcare and medical business. And all starts when the patient makes a call to a healthcare provider;s office then makes an appointment. The assigned administrative staff or workers makes certain if the patient is new requesting an initial appointment or an established patient returning for more or additional services required from the provider. Now the pre-clinical interview

RSA is more secure than traditional ciphers. Histograms are completely random. The complexity of cipher will depend on the ley size that is used. The RSA uses an asymmetric encryption and this makes it more secure that the Symmetric encryption. Asymmetric uses a key for encryption and one for decryption while the other methods used symmetric encryption and this used one key for encryption and decryption. The longer they key is, the more secure and complex the cipher will be. This goes for both the symmetric and asymmetric encryption
Electronic transfer- this is a type of digital money transfer that involves transfer of money from one bank to another without direct interference of bank staff. Electronic transfer transactions are known by a lot of names Direct deposit- this is the type of transfer of money where the money is sent from an account into another account. It is often mixed with direct debit which is the complete opposite. Direct deposit involves pushing money out of an account while direct debit involves pulling money out of an account ECheck transfer-
The item number 24E on the CMS-1500 claim form refers to diagnosis pointer or code linkage. This provides a link between diagnosis and treatment. The procedure I would use to teach Ruby the importance of locator 24E is to ask questions. The questions can be such as, ‘is there a clear and correct link between each diagnosis and procedure?’ or ‘is the documentation in the patient’s medical record adequate to support the reported services?’ (Vines-Allen et al.). By asking these questions to herself, Ruby can make a better judgment for code linkage and this will allow her to submit a clean claim. Submitting a clean claim is very important in reimbursement process as it allows quick reimbursement.
Once the dollars are received to the bank, the current process of Electronic Payment Posting entails the file being processed through the system, the system accepts all items that are clean and items that are not clean (with issue) fall into an edit to be reviewed/amended by staffed and processed manually.
\item SI-models, these are the simplest models in which the transmission of the disease occurs through the interaction of two states, namely susceptible (S) and infectious (I). The assumption is that the route of infection is through direct contact between susceptible individuals and infected individuals and the infective remain infectious for the rest of the disease lifetime. These types of models are mostly applicable to the study of disease that does not confer to immunity. \item SIP models are the simplest models in which the transmission of the disease occurs between the susceptible and free-living pathogens in the environment. The force of infection is assumed to be dependent on the population of free-living pathogens. \item SIS-model, these models are similar to the SI-models, but the assumption is that infectious confer immunity to recover from the disease and become susceptible again.
According to Painter (NA), The Electronic Claim File system was customized for the assertion of reimbursement and compensation division of an insurance conglomerate, Workers’ Compensation Board (p.2). The firm had huge client database and hence the main task was to collect data, weigh evidence, and relate specified information in making difficult decisions about workers’ injury compensation entitlements in an assortment of businesses.
