It is proud to differentiate itself from its competition with an exemplary customer service delivery. The airlines have more than 56,000 employees serving the customer base of 120 million annually for the past few years. In 2003 Southwest Airlines became the largest domestic air carrier of the nation, and based on the U.S. Department of Transportations, the company has been able to maintain its ranking. Over 4,000 departures are taking off during weekdays in peak season, offering 100 domestic destinations and 10 international ones.
