For this discussion, I have chosen a company that’s a lunchtime favorite in my office—Panera Bread Company, a steadily-growing national restaurant chain headquartered in Sunset Hills, Missouri. Ron Shaich, the creator of Panera Bread, joined with partner Louis Kane, the founder of the bakery-café chain Au Bon Pain Co., Inc. (ABP). In addition to ABP, Mr. Shaich started a “fast casual” sandwich shop that he eventually named Panera Bread, and once ABP was sold in 1999, Mr. Shaich focused on growing the Panera Bread brand. Within the next 15 years, Panera Bread practiced a slow but steady growth pattern and there are now more in 2,300 Paneras in the United States (Panera Bread Company, 2017).

Kroger would like to be included in the ACD for Anchorage. Which is currently in their Kroger-TeamCo and Kroger – TeamCo STEP portfolio. A little background on the Kroger/TeamCo relationship: Kroger, recently submitted a full redemption request to TeamCo (TeamCo is a FoF and the majority of their business is with Kroger). As a result, TeamCo has started the liquidation process and will no longer exist as of January 2018. However, the anchorage position in the TeamCo portfolios have always been in Kroger’s name, so there will not be a need for a transfer of ownership or beneficial ownership. Kroger is still needs to figure out if they will redeem, maintain or add to the position. In the meantime, they would like to be included to
Christi, I agree that Chic-fil-a is a company that you can go to any location and receive same customer service of a polite, smiling face to represent the company. Chic-fil-a mission is provide a positive influence on all who come in contact with them (CFA Properties, Inc., 2016). This positive customer service is what keeps me coming back along with the fact that the team members shows an interested in making sure their customers are satisfied and the warm welcome. Team member ask for your name when placing an order on the inside and your name is called when your order is ready. The team members always greet you with, “how may I serve your” and end with “it was my pleasure to serve you”. I normally go to Chic-fil-A on my lunch and there
Whenever the term economics come up the two terms that seem to be put together are supply and demand. Supply and demand is the amount of a commodity, product, or service available and the desire of buyers for it considered as factors for regulating its price. This concept is important, because without it producers don 't know how much of their product to make and what to price it at. Chipotle a Mexican grill is an establishment that has been open since 1933. This was a small business until McDonalds became an investor in their company in 1998 and their was no looking back from then. Their expansion was rapid leaving more room for mistakes. This Mexican grill was quite popular until it had a fall out with a contaminate in their meat in December of 2015. The contaminate that was found was E.coli. E.coli is a powerful contaminate and has the power to kill someone. Chipotle had several outbreaks where their meat was contaminated and as a result that caused customers to not want to go their in fear of being contaminated. The supply was their, but the demand for the food quickly plummeted causing the company to lose lots of profit. As a result the company has been spending millions to try and regain their customers. Supply and demand is a concept that is very important for the development of any company; to maximize sales you must have plenty of both with supply having enough product to sell, and demand being the customer base that has been built.
These system provides domino’s a competitive advantage and by the help of these system they improve their business so well i.e.

Inventory control is the biggest challenge because of inappropriate inventory management system. There is a requirement of proper food service for better inventory control and also for identifying the important requirements. There is a need to develop the inventory methods for the products and with a standard inventory management company should try to minimize the wastes in terms of future. (Gartenstein, 2012)

There were various success factors that contributed to the rapid growth of TelePizza under the leadership of Leopoldo Fernandez. The same can be summarized as follows:

The Papa John’s case provides a classic example of a company that entered a highly saturated and mature market and was able to enjoy immense growth and success due to its creative product differentiation strategy. The company’s motto has been consistent from the day the first restaurant was opened: Superior ingredients and a superior product from its competitors. John Schnatter took the basic concept of product differentiation and positioning to new heights as he created a strong global brand, which had an unprecedented track record of success and customer loyalty over its competitor’s pizza products.
