At Aunt Jemima’s syrup company, many workers have fallen into the large vats of syrup. The accompanied with swimming in syrup. One major health concern doctors have for the people who fell into these tanks are not always quickly rescued. In fact it may take several hours before other workers notice someone went missing. Now, the syrup company is being sued for the dangerous workplace they have. The syrup company is now investigating the health problems employees who have been exposed to syrup for long periods of time is dehydration. Doctors believe that some of the main ingredients in the syrup could contribute to dehydration such as corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, and salt ( ).
