With starting a new company, came a whole range of problems. The biggest and most likely problem was acquiring the new customer to visit and have the most epic time. Along with a website that has been created with the latest version from Open Source Web Content Management Systems to take their domain and catapult it to a level that will exceed expectations. Due to the clients’ age and knowledge of the Internet, the website is easily manageable for even the older users and navigating is pretty much self-explanatory. Phase 2 Systems analysis. This phase determined the needs that the website must meet the Client and determined the function the site must perform.
Phase 3 Designing. The Client had options to select from multiple WordPress themes, along with menu item names and color pattern. A company logo was customized and resized for import into the WordPress theme. During this phase, plugins were added to the server to display video clips and pictures.
Phase 4 Developments. The selected theme was purchased and applied to the WordPress server. The Homepage, Featured Custom Company page, and Contact Us page was designed, created, and cataloged with detailed descriptions in the text blocks. The plugins for the sliders were added and videos/ photos uploaded. The email server was set up to receive responses from the Contact Us page.
Phase 5 Testing. The Client was given an open browser displaying the Homepage and to test for ease of navigation. Once the Client was satisfied, the project moved to the next phase.
Phase 6 Implementation, the website went live on the World Wide Web, where customers have access to the site.
Phase 7 Maintenance, the website was evaluated for performance, functionality, and ease of use. Any issues that arise were forwarded for evaluation and correction by the developer. A final
The main objectives of the pilot program were to test the new features and to gain feedback from people using the new system. Six weeks before the new system went live, Butler set up 40 phones with department coordinators and high-level staff to test the new system. Over three weeks they tested the system and gathered information to help improve the system if need by. The overall goal of the pilot program was to ‘gain buy-in from the user community’. Obviously when establishing a new program, there is bound to be some problems and bugs. For instance, Butler encountered a software bug that caused immense stress to the staff and the system developers.
