Cell Phone Policy

It is a well known fact; using cell phones in school takes away from learning time. I do not think that cell phones should be allowed. Cell phones are fine for outside the classroom, but inside, you’re supposed to be learning. Even though some students think they can use them for good, it can quickly turn into bad. Cell phones cause students to do bad on their work, enables cheating, and can be distracting.

The first reason why cell phones should be allowed in school is that it will help with a lot of different things. If we have phones allowed at lunch, it will make more students comfortable. Most schools do not allow the use of cell phones in school or in class, so the school feels like changing their policy of cell phone use might be a bad idea. Students could take advantage or miss use the privilege of phones in class. There will always be students who act out in class, but the school must discipline those who do and reward those who do not.

Some can argue that cell phone use during school is highly uncivilized but it's extremely useful in many different ways and in different scenarios.Instead of viewing cellphones and other gadgets as negative additive distractions , we should view the positive side of celluar devices.
