Change is something that is constantly occurring in our lives. Not a single moment goes by when everything in our lives will remain consistent. Indeed, it has become apparent to us that the only thing which in fact survives change, is change itself.
Time and experience allows change to eventually reform and alter everything from the way it originally was. From ourselves physically, to those around us emotionally, to the way in which we perceive the entirety of the world everything it eventually changes.
Most of the time we are not even explicitly aware of such changes occurring, but none-the-less they are indeed occurring.
Change is a natural process that cannot be easily stopped or controlled. When we think of the things we

This short poem, which was present in the stimulus booklet, effectively presents a dramatic monologue which encapsulates the concept of change on a physical, social and emotional level.
Through the poem the door, the poet, is trying to convey to the responder, that life is too short for us to simply try and keep things constant at all times. We have to make change our ally and use it to enrich our lives, and allow it to transform us into stronger, superior beings. The poet is integrating the use of dual metaphor, The Door, to convey to us that getting what we want out of life, is as simple as opening a door, and allowing yourself to become exposed to a completely new environment. The poet is addressing today’s society and almost satirising our constant fear of change and failure, conveying to us that even if we take a risk in our life, and we feel as if we are lost, the mist of confusion will eventually lift, and we will be left with an enriched, fulfilled life. This is adamant in the lines “ go ad open the door, if there is a fog, it will clear.” Miroslav Holub, is telling us that we need to embrace as change will always be present in our life, and it is only through change that we can grow and form as strong passionate beings.
However, although we have come far as a society, and can now only embrace change but seek to instigate it, there are still some parts of modern living which always seem to remain constant, and refuse to embrace change and this is
“How many things have to happen to you,” Robert Frost Writes, “before something occurs to you?” A person wakes up every morning to the same gray walls and eats the same flavorless slop. Seeing no changes they seem to ask themselves if life is worth living. They are unhappy but are afraid of new environments and unknown areas. Wishing things can go back to when their worries were as simple as trying to memorize the multiplication tables. Although it is written that change is in every person’s destiny, there are several reasons a person might or might not seek out change. For instance, a person’s environment or way of living can be one of the hardest things to change. Living in the projects, bills to pay and people to obey are a few reasons many steer away from change. Secondly unexpected life events like suddenly having to become a parent and learning how to raise a baby while trying to balance sudden deaths that may occur. Thirdly, discovering a person’s true emotions for another human being can create what I like to call a domino effect. Whether you consider the environment to be the atmosphere around you or the place to which a person calls home, one thing is certain that in any environment a person must adjust in order to survive, and through any adjustments comes change.
Change is a process of alteration it can be instantaneous or it could be a gradual change, change may be physical, psychological or environmental all change that occurs is either positive or negative, in relation to the prescribed text “ The Dreamers” a play by Jack Davis, a related text of Kevin Rudd’s sorry speech and a cartoon by R.Cobb use a variety of visual and literary techniques to show that a large amount of change that occurs around the world results in negative change rather than positive change.
Life is constantly changing, like clouds in the sky; always shifting and turning. People never really know which way life will turn next, bringing them fortune or failure. When you look at how things change it is best to compare it to something that you can relate it to. The changeable nature of life can be related to the novel 'The Bean Trees.' This is a book written almost entirely on dealing with changes in the characters lives.
Change is a process that affects individuals and their environments. Some people choose to embrace change, while others resist it. “Macbeth”; the song “The Times They Are A-Changin’” and the episode of the Twilight Zone, “A Stop at Willoughby” all successfully convey the notion of change and demonstrate how individuals and societies can embrace or resist change.
The use of symbolism and imagery is beautifully orchestrated in a magnificent dance of emotion that is resonated throughout the poem. The two main ideas that are keen to resurface are that of personal growth and freedom. Furthermore, at first glimpse this can be seen as a simple poem about a women’s struggle with her counterpart. However, this meaning can be interpreted more profoundly than just the causality of a bad relationship.
Change should be seen as a challenge and embraced with enthusiasm (Marquis & Huston, 2012). In my professional and personal life, I view and respond to change as a way to make improvements to existing regulations and circumstances. I embark upon the quest with determination to succeed at whatever task is presented to me. Life without change can become unchallenging and stagnant (Marquis & Huston, 2012). As society and technology advance, you must incorporate the necessary transformations that arise with it.
Change is something you are probably familiar with. In “Beneath the Smooth Skin of America,” Scott R. Sanders talks about many changes in his life. The author starts the story looking throw the eyes of himself as a child. As a child he remembers that all that was in his sight was all he could see. The author’s best example of this is he says, ”Neighbors often appeared…where they came from I could not imagine” (27). As the author begins to see more by leaving the area he was around so often he starts to see more and more things. He started moving around to different places and started seeing the things that he had not see before. The author points out many things that he began to see like the stores
Change can be confronting and because of this we often try to resist it. However, we need change and we must accept it, for without change we cannot grow. This confrontation of change, resistance and final acceptance of change can be seen in the texts, " Drifters", " And a good Friday was held by all" by Bruce Dawe and 10 Things I hate about you" by Gil Junger. All three of these texts examine the process of change and the attitudes towards change.
Change, the essential of life, it can be tranquility or turbulence, change has no set goal, it occurs all around us without us knowing. In the novel, The Chrysalids, by John Wyndham, change is the major problem in the society even though it is hidden in different aspects of life. To the society, change is their enemy, but it is themselves who are their enemies without knowing it. A society that fails to realize the inevitability of change will indubitably agonize.
While change can be viewed as a positive thing, it can also be negative, but above all else it can be a scary occurrence. Sometimes we find ourselves desiring to break free from collectivism, desiring to be individual. But often times, we cannot speak up, we cannot do anything to break free. We feel small and confused and afraid. But what is it we are afraid of? Fear of Change. We become used to living in a collective and oppressive society where we are held back and restricted since we are afraid of what could happen if we gain freedom to be unique. Freedom to be creative. Could total anarchy erupt? Could murder occur, due to rage and confusion built up inside of us? Regardless, it is the fear of what could happen, fear of the unknown and of the changes which could come with a new

Through obstacles, people learn how to adopt or change in order to get through difficult situations. In addition, they might change in order to avoid similar future obstacles. People change not only to overcome a bad situation, but also to evolve into something greater than they were yesterday. They change in order to gain opportunities and to create a way for future generations. Furthermore, growth, is a part of the process of changing. With that being said, in order to grow and realize the significant and the unimportant aspects of live, change is inevitable. Therefore, whether we embrace it or resist it, change is unavoidable, and it is likely to be devastating if rejected. Lastly, people change based on how they are being treated, their environment, and also though influences. Change is one aspect of life that human cannot
Change starts with the perception of its need, so a wrong initial perception can be the first
Change also brings hope and a sense of renewal. It reinvigorates, it inspires and is emotional.
In my life, I have been exposed to a challenge called change. Change can occur in many different ways and is dealt with in many different ways. I have come to the awareness that change can be the deepest of all things. I always thought that change occurred when you moved to a state or when you lost someone real close to you. Those are a challenge to change, yes, but change doesn’t have to occur over a climactic incident. It can just appear overnight when your brain winds up when it’s time to do something different. Even with friends that you used to have and know that move on. For example, most of my friends from elementary school, I don’t even talk to them anymore.
