Aim
Teach about the 4 spiritual laws, and Christmas. Blend these 5 points throughout the lessons. Express God’s most loving identity as Father of Mankind in Creation.
Creation-God, the excited Father to be was like parents expecting a new baby. Like a child’s parents, God prepared everything for us.(Gen 1). Not only did God create us, but before we were created, he created this world, and everything in it for us.
Mankind fell when God’s children disobeyed God’s directions for using his great gift. We took our eyes off of our creator and looked at what he created as more important. Like a child who doesn’t appreciate the gifts he receives on Christmas, but instead thinks about the gifts he didn’t.(explain

He gave those gifts as a show of his love for us. God so loved us that he would give us a greater gift then we had ever received. A gift even greater than life itself- Redemption.
The greatest gift was his son, Jesus(Luke’s account of his birth). The world seems happy around this time due to gifts, but those gifts only entertain for a moment. The gift of God’s son is eternal(eternal life verses). We take this gift and we take it to the world, building his kingdom by encouraging others who know the lord, and introducing him to others who don’t know him.
People get very happy around this time as in American culture, Christmas is a time of getting and giving gifts, but the true reason for this season is not about us getting or giving to one another, but instead, about the greate gift God gave us in Jesus his son. All the gifts kids get may be enjoyed for a few months, maybe more, but the gift of Jesus is eternal( eternal life verses). The Christian’s life is not a life mere salvation for themselves, but a new beginning with a grand duty and purpose. We now serve God and help his kingdom Grow. Think of it like this- We are children of God, wealthy because we know Jesus. But the people of the world are in poverty. Don’t look at all the toys and money they have, but think about how empty their heart is when they don’t know
In the Chapter 3 entitled “The Fall”, Plantinga calls God’s creation a paradise that was turned into a paradise lost because of sin. Sin has affected everything – plants, animals and human beings. Sin and evil are described in vivid detail and spoil the way things are supposed to be. From the beginning, humans have been choosing wrong thereby polluting and perverting our gifts from God. The chapter concludes with the question “who’s to blame?” for our fall. Did God, the devil or other unforeseen powers cause sin? No, we sin because we are sinners and we choose to. Our hope today is in Jesus Christ.
From the first day of December you can notice the Christmas spirit in everyone's face. In my grandma's house me and my older brother had to go to a near forest to cut a pine tree and afterwards we had to check every single light to make sure to only put the ones that work. The most marvelous feelings is walking inside your house and smelling all the food being cooked and the smell of a fresh cut pine tree.Furthermore everyone house is full of food and consequently there are children running around the streets having a blast. In the other hand christmas in the united states is very depressing for someone like me, because do do all the abundance and ways to get whatever you desire there is no longer a sensation or the impulsive to share with your neighborhoods the joy of that marvelous moment. This is a perfect example of how difference in income can have a totally different effect on entire community. Where i lived the feeling of a community coming together and putting aside their differences is like a forest full of green trees filled with live. However if you celebrate this day in a different places with none of your family instead of that joy it's depressing and there is no longer the two months of desperately waiting for the that day to
Because of these gifts — both what Christ has done for us on the cross and the future promise of perfect fellowship with God for all eternity — we are free from the old restrictions and requirements of the law, and we are called to present our entire lives as acts of worship to the Lord (see Romans 11:36-12:1). Jesus frees us from the law so that we are free to love Him more — not as condemned rebels or slaves, but as sons and daughters.
That has to be the most generous gift to give to someone and how much you can love someone after you know the true character of that person. Jesus is love and as he told these men what love really means,” I give you a new Law. You are to love each other. You must love each other as I have loved you. If you love each other, all men will know you are My followers.”(John 1”34-35,NIV). I guess the biggest thing about Jesus in the moment is the love that he gave and still gives. This can be said for yesterday, today tomorrow and forever as it can be seen that he exemplifies the meaning of love. How can anyone argue with that, and this is what is so exciting about Jesus as he leads by example. If there is one thing that anyone can learn is what is the definition of love. “It was before the special religious gathering to remember how the Jews left Egypt. Jesus knew the time had come for Him to leave this world and go to the Father. He had loved His own who were in the world. He loved them to the end”(John 13:1,NIV). I just keep thinking about the fact that he loved them to the
T/F: The image of God in man was lost as a result of the fall of man.
What we could not do for ourselves Jesus went to the cross to do for us.
There is no doubt that Christmas is a religious event but nowadays Christmas becomes more commercialized, as it has been defined as a high consumption season because the gifts giving culture becomes the most important part of Christmas and the consumers want to please their children
We are being given the gift of knowing that each step we take should not be for nothing, should not be unkind, should not be wasted on dismissing life as a gift, or the present as the same. The gift of people while they still are. I know that much.
In it, the authors make the statement, “We are all commanded to use are gifts to benefit others” (Fortune & Fortune, 2009). There are a myriad of self-assessments in this book that all revolve around the notion that we are not only commanded by God to figure out our strengths, but to then put them to use to benefit others.
The Christmas season was full of general joy and greatness, seeing that it consisted of festivals which contained overall buoyancy. Starting Christmas Eve and ending on Epiphany, this season consisted of celebrations, feasts, music, morris dancing, plays and general merriment. Christmas used to commonly be celebrated with religious connotation, but the Reformation introduced the secular way of celebrating Christmas, which most families adapted into their personal celebrations. Overall, this season was a practical way for families to spend time with each
given us through his words. Now and days not just people but Christians take it for what it is.
God's gift to those who believe is a righteousness that exists and can be given only because of the sacrificial death of Jesus for sinners and his resurrection from the dead as the vindicated Lord of
First of all, the fall of man is about Adam and Eve and their disobedience to God’s commandments. Adam and Eve were commanded by God to Multiply and replenish the earth, and to not eat the fruit of the tree in which God had forbid. With Adam’s temptation by the serpent to eat the fruit, he made the unethical decision
Christmas is not just about the presents under the tree. It is about surrounding yourself with family and loved ones. These less fortunate children may not have families therefore presents are the only thing that matters to them. It is unfair for these less fortunate children to not receive presents due to their financial situation, which they have no control over. Younger children probably do not even understand their situation, so one can only imagine the confusion they have when there are no presents on Christmas. We want to bring joy and cheer to those less fortunate on Christmas, since that is what the holiday season is really about.
Toward that end, I emphasis that gifts are great, they do edify ourselves, others, and God, but the most important aspect of gifts is to confirm Christ to unbelievers. The edification part is strictly a side effect of the gift given for this purpose. With this said, gifts are for work, not away of increasing our relationship with God. Those without these gifts are just as close, and I dare say maybe closer, for the fact they live strictly on faith in Christ. The confirmation of Christ through signs and wonders hasn 't been needed to confirm the ultimate gift of Christ, eternal life.
