Choromatsu sighed in frustration as Todomatsu explained their current situation. Karamatsu was outside by himself, avoiding his brothers. He knew that his older brother was afraid to face them. He had made a mistake, a huge one. Choromatsu will admit, it was probably a good mistake, as the man, he had brought with him knew how to cook. He had sworn just earlier; his lips were sealed. He didn’t even need to be threatened, much to Ichimatsu’s dismay. The rest of his brothers were by the campfire, watching Chibita cook. Their mouths were watering after a day without any food in their stomachs. They had quickly accepted him into their group as soon as he said, he can cook. Osomatsu had welcomed him with open arms. Choromatsu, however, was taking his time. Watching Chibita from afar, if he tried anything. He can quickly get rid of him. “You …show more content…
Idjit. It’s cold out here.” “Coming!” Karamatsu quickly went inside the barn. He was in a happier mood than before. This won’t be so bad after all. His brothers were surrounding the campfire. Ichimatsu was glaring at him from where he was sitting. Karamatsu’s eyes darted his eyes to avoid eye contact. He didn’t know what he did to deserve such scorn from his younger brother. He probably hated him more, due to his screw up. It didn’t matter to him right now; apparently his brothers’ had something important to say. If they were all together. “So.” Choromatsu began, “We’re going to be leaving here tomorrow. We are going to be traveling to a village a day from here, so there is going to be a lot of walking. I---We don’t know what we are going to do, at the moment. It’s something we’re going to be talking about in the future. Right now, I’m focusing on getting as far as possible.” “We’re running away, then?” Ichimatsu frowned at his eldest brothers, “What are we? Cowards?” “You want to take them head-on, Ichimatsu?” Osomatsu said, arching an eyebrow at his brother, “We don’t have an army. We have
In my opinion, the ending wasn’t satisfying. It wasn’t satisfying because I was expecting a little bit more. For example, when the whole entire band shaved their hair I was surprised. But, I was wondering as to why the girls didn’t do it as well, I was hoping that they’d shave their hair as well. Also, when Jeffery got sick and Steven couldn’t perform, but in the end he received an award for his drums. But, he didn’t even perform and he got the award, I thought that it was unfair for the other people that played the instruments. Also, when Steven went to Sam and she died I was heartbroken. So, I would’ve kept her alive, I would have let her meet her sister. I would let them have a reunion, then later on she would give some more advice to
Elizabeth’s brother had not said anything about the conversation. Abiel looked his father’s way and spoke up in his low voice, “Father, I don’t see what the big deal is. If we were living in our homeland, it would not have caused this much calamity. Problems like this were imminent when we moved to this new
“Well,” Mrs. Johnson interrupted, “how about we settled down and talk about our plans for the morning?” Everyone agreed and sat in a circle discussing their ideas. Next, they decided they should head to bed due to the early times they would have to wake in the morning. As they woke up, they put on their layers of clothes, grabbed their bags, and headed for the Johnsons’ business. They would be staying in an attic, which luckily had a bathroom, but would have to sleep all in one room. They set up their belongings and set rules which they would have to follow to stay safe.
“Shoteka! We can not go around starting fights with the Choctaw boys. Who knows what will happen!” She scolded me. I put my hands up defensively.
Colette would have taken more time to examine herself but her stomach snarled audibly at her as she finished latching on her gauntlets. Food seemed like the best idea ever. She made her way down the steps, eager to see Faustus again... but more eager for
Himmelstoss takes the place of the cook and gives the men lots of food to win them over
This quote relates to the novel because even in the darkest and loneliest of times of the story, Karana managed to have her own versions of family and friends. Karana vowed to kill all of the wild dogs because they had killed Ramo. She was about to release the second arrow towards the pack leader, but she paused, put her bow down, and went over to the hurt dog. Karana saw that he was in much pain, so she carried him back to her house to care for
I lean against the wall of the alley, staring out at the swarm of people rushing through the square, in the fading sunlight. I let out a sigh, as I realize that I need to come up, with my next move. I’ve been out here on the streets searching for the Rebels, for little under a week now, and I’m not any closer to finding them, then I was back in Gold district.
A week later, the newly crowned Queen Sadira and her husband were in the royal garden standing next to an elaborate raised pond.
I fucking hate you!” he screamed into the black, empty night. He could no longer see a damn thing and he couldn’t get a fire going. “Why me, damn it?”
They finished their dinner, sat around the fire staring at each other through the flame of the fire. One of the noticed that their food supplies are getting low but they didn't say anything to the rest if the group.
Captain Beatty put the fire down. This is not a book that you, sir, want to burn; we have too much to learn from it. The book The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky is about three brothers and their lives before their killing of their father and the aftermath of the killing of their father. Why you, Beatty, can’t burn this book is because it has an amazing message behind it. After reading the book I feel like it teaches the reader forgiveness. Forgiveness is a big part of the book, from the time the brothers forgive their dad for walking out on them at birth to the time Koyla forgiving Ilusha for almost killing as stray dog. As I read this book at each scenario where it showed forgiveness I was thinking of what I would have done. Most
“Well I disagree, Theo, and my opinion is the only one that matters” said a very exasperated Daphne. The two reckless teens stood in front of a colorfully lit tent. The carnival had come into town and they decided to check it out. They stood before a tent that probably exclaimed that a psychic inside would tell you your future, for the mere price of five ninety-nine of course.
AN: I'm sorry if Ryuk seems OC or like Light but I felt this was the only way I could go on with the second chapter.
Have you ever thought that your mother actually despises you? Or that your best friend secretly plans to snitch away your happiness? Think about it. This trivial matter might not crosses our minds when we are utterly comfortable with our loved ones. Nevertheless, they might hate us as we, humans, are unique creatures who have natural instincts and feelings which can be influenced by surroundings. In The Brother Karamazov Book V by Dostoevsky, I find that there are some relationships between both chapters Rebellion and The Grand Inquisitor regarding human’s actions and reactions towards one another which are affected by some driven forces.
