Although both coaches on each team are NBA veterans, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors share a small difference when it comes to playing strategies. While the Cleveland Cavaliers focuses on defensive playing, to guard Golden State’s strong offense and to avoid turnovers, the Golden State Warriors rely heavily on their offense to secure a victory. Furthermore, the two teams are exceptionally different when it comes to coaches. After the David Blatt’s firing in the middle of the 2015-2016 season, Tyronn Lue was appointed as the new coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. During Tyronn’s NBA career, he played on 8 different teams, with two championships. Unlike the Tyronn, not only did Steve Kerr played with Michael Jordan and won 5 NBA titles, his experience as a successful NBA player has given him the opportunity to document different strategies. In addition to strategic planning on the court, the teams share a difference in terms of a game mindset. In the CBS Sports article, the title “In taking control of Lebron Tyronn Lue has created a monster in Cleveland” represents Tyronn's strategy to success. (www.cbssports.com) Although Lebron is the prime leader, Tyronn Lue sets a mindset to the Cavaliers team to work together as a team and not let Lebron take all the leadership. Different from the

Throughout basketball history, there have been many amazing players to be a part of the NBA. The NBA, also known as the National Basketball Association, is not only the foremost men’s professional basketball league in North America, but is also widely considered to be the top-ranking men’s professional basketball league in the world. One of the most controversial topics in the history of NBA today is whether Michael Jordan or LeBron James is the best player to ever be a part of this association. James began his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and currently plays for the Miami Heat. Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls for most of his career; however, he played for the Washington Wizard’s from age 38 to 40. According to the New York Times, Jordan announced his retirement in Chicago on January 13th of 1999 (D8). Although LeBron James is one of the best players to be currently active in the league, Michael Jordan is known to be the best player in NBA history. Both player, without a doubt, have left a mark in the history of NBA, Michael Jordan, indisputably, is the best player to ever play in the NBA with his unstoppable defensive and offensive ability along with the determination and leadership he provided for his team.
Three time NBA champion, Lebron James in his interview, “Lebron: I’m coming back to Cleveland” notes that he is returning to Cleveland after his four years in Miami after abandoning Cleveland in 2010. He supports his claim by first stating his feelings for Ohio, and what Ohio meant to him. Secondly, he explains why he abandoned Cleveland, and it was because of winning championships. Lastly, he promises Cleveland that he will give it his all to bring Cleveland’s championship drought to an end. James’ purpose is to prove to Cavalier fans that somewhere in his heart he still has a place for Ohio in order to convince the fans to believing in him once more. He establishes an enthusiastic tone for his fans, and Cavalier
Lebron carried his team to the NBA finals against the San Antonio Spurs. They lost but that is to be expected when your teammates aren't there for you. He is the main talent, he doesn't have a Scottie Pippen,
Many have heard the name "LeBron" at least once due to his popularity among basketball fans and the basketball player's countless merchandise items. LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the most successful ball players in the game today. The 6'8" 250Lbs Cleveland Cavalier Forward has always had a talent for basketball
Michael Jordan is considered to be the most iconic person in sports history. Since 2002, Lebron James has been compared not only to be the next Michael Jordan but also having the potential of being a better basketball player than him. Some basketball fans might agree and some might disagree, but at the end of the day everyone will have their own opinion of who is better than whom. Lebron James and Michael Jordan do have many things in common even though they play different positions in the national basketball association. They both can dominate the court with their leadership, their skills, and their strength. Surprisingly, there are just as many differences as there are similarities between the
Most people who are older than thirty will say that Michael is better only because they watched him play. Everyone under the age of 30 will say Lebron is better because they are watching him now. Those over 30 will say Michael is better only say it because they don’t want change. They don’t want to accept the fact that Michael is not the best to ever play the game of basketball. They often have the age old argument of “6 rings,” which is complete garbage. What does having more championships have to do with being a better overall basketball player? Having more championships only indicates the best team that year. If we take championships into the conversation, Bill Russell should be considered to be the best player ever because of his eleven rings, including seven straight with countless other accomplishments. Although this is impressive, we’re not talking about the most accomplished player ever but just straight up best to ever set foot on the hardwood. By my definition the best basketball player should be reliable, strong, athletic, and a team player. Someone who you can tell to go make a play and you know that he will do it.
Lebron James is considered the very best among many top players to ever play the game.
The National Basketball Association (NBA) has transformed over the many of years as an organization and a brand, into a multibillion-dollar business that draws thousands and thousands of fans to each and every game. Many contributing factors have made the NBA what it is today, but the main cause of this gain in interest is the ultimate rivalry between two remarkable players, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Larry “the Legend” Bird. The battling rivalry amongst these individuals is comparable to the feud of Coca Cola and Pepsi, or, Star Wars and Star Trek. During the era of modern television, and the still and ever present racial bigotry, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird helped redefine the game of basketball and popularity of the NBA with their
Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are two of the most explosive players in the NBA today. Each player has his own playing style that separates him from the rest of the league. Both players have their own career achievements, endorsements, and personal life stories behind the game. If you ask anybody, the comparison between these two players is great. It is a never ending debate between who is better because both players have something different to bring to the table. Side by side on paper, both players seem dominant and may one day end up in the basketball hall of fame. But as individuals, side by side, each has a different but similar life.
First and foremost, LeBron James is a hardworking man, who has a very demanding job. Despite these demands and pressure, LeBron James is one of the youngest players to reach many National Basketball Association (NBA) benchmarks, such as scoring 10,000 career points and winning Rookie of the Year award for the 2003-2004 basketball season (Augustyn). Not only is LeBron James a great NBA player, but he has gone to the Summer Olympic Games to be on the United States of America (USA) basketball team. Amazingly, this basketball
When LeBron James was born, nobody would have guessed that he would have been the one to go all the way to the NBA and perform like he does. He has amazing talent and he knows how to use it. And what's so amazing about how he went all the way to the NBA, is he was living in a state of poverty with trouble all around him and still managed to make it tontine big times.Even though the odds of how he lived were against him, LeBron James managed to put his talent first and become one of the best basketball players in the world.
LeBron James plays the small forward position and stands at 6 foot 8 and weighs 250 lbs, and Stephen Curry plays the point guard position and stands at 6 foot 3 and weighs 190 lbs. LeBron James has played 13 season and Stephen Curry has played 7 seasons. Obviously LeBron James’ stats are going to be higher for the most part because he has played longer, but I want to compare and project who is going to be better at the end of their careers and who’s better now. Granted, both players play different position so they have to be judged on if they are better players overall. Although, both players are very qualified, one has to be better and that can be determined by aspects such as: offensive performance, defensive performance, championships and
The team that Curry has is a record setting team that fits to his playstyle. Curry’s teammates helped him flourish to the special player he is today. Curry has teammates that are willing to sacrifice their points to help the team win and vice versa. Curry has averaged 6.9 assists throughout his entire career and he has played with the same team all those years. Those plays involve an intricate set of movements that so far have been successful for Curry’s teammates. There are some who would say that those plays can be run for any player and have the same outcome. The matter of fact is that specific types of players have different types of roles and abilities.
