The Franklin Institute Museum is a unique museum that gives the experience of exploring science in a fun and fascinating way. The museum touches bases on many areas of science such as, anatomy, physics, environmental sciences, and space. The Franklin Institute is named after Benjamin Franklin and is the home of his national memorial statue. The opportunities that the Institute has are limited but with hardwork and networking growth can be made. Threats: With any company that promotes a program or has a program there are threats. The threat of the "Discovery Camp" is the fact that there are many other camps out there that promote fun and learning about science as well. Many other science camps may go in depth with more experiments and knowledge about a specific area while "Discovery Camp" only touches small bases of each area. The obstacle the program may face is the fact that the amount of money the parents put into the program may not be worth the information there children are getting back. Prior to the 1820’s, the people of the United States had been struggling to find a way to solve their sectional tensions brought on by slavery in the south. The south had always had an economy based on agriculture that could not strive without their uses of slavery. They did not plan on ending slavery anytime soon, especially since it was really all they had to support themselves. They were against establishing an industrial based economy like the north had began to do in the 1820-1830’s. The real cause of the sectional tensions between the North and the South during the 1820’s-1860’s was not slavery itself, but how it affected each society so differently, and it was very challenging to find a compromise to suit

Working at the Orlando Science Center has introduced ideas and taught me more than I could have wished for a few months ago. I am interning in the Early Childhood Development program. This program used to be associated with Public Programing, but recently has expanded so much so that it has become its own division. There are many role models in the world deemed smart, wise, and even revolutionary. Although only a few people have the honorary award “role model”, there is however one person who stands out and is is not just a role model, but an inspiration, which is none other than Benjamin Franklin. One of Franklin’s jobs included being a scientist where he conducted many life changing experiments which changed how society thought of science. Science experiments are not simply just for research and tests, but also for inventions, which leads to explain about Franklin’s revolutionary job as an inventor, which lead him to invent a plethora of inventions that is still used today that changed the world. I deeply value the spirit of collaboration that exists at Columbia, allowing some of the best young minds in the country work together to learn, research, and change the world. The Common Core curriculum is a major part of what makes Columbia such a closely-knit community. Because the entirety of the diverse student population takes a set of the same courses, they all have shared experiences to connect over. The Common Core promotes deep intellectual discussions which bring out the unique perspective of every student, allowing them to learn from each other. The advising system at Columbia also contributes to this culture of collaboration. One’s fellow students can also be his or her mentors or advisers, supporting him or her and helping him and her learn, grow, and find new opportunities. The small class sizes contribute to this culture as well, by helping students to form closer relationships both among themselves and with their professors.
This about how to work with groups and other team members, most of the time it is hard to do but with our jobs nowadays we have to do what we have to do. I like working with others for the most part, especially when they are motivated in getting the job done in a timely manner. Then we have some that just don’t want to help but want everybody else to do their work for them.
I have 3 siblings; two brothers and one sister. My sister “Isha-27”, Little brother “Ishmael-10”, and my older brother “I.B-18”, we all grew up and spent the most of our lives with each other. I think I’ve always known that I was a little different from my brothers and my sister, but it's okay because we are all different in many ways. Now my story on how it's like living with 3 siblings with personalities are all different and how we all like certain things but we all manage to live together in harmony , my older brother is more into sports and my little brother is more into video games; my sister is more into reading a writing and more i'm more into math and science. At times it gets extremely annoying living with them
