In the five years since Kenna and Val’s wedding night, the world enjoyed an unprecedented period of peace. The only action Kenna and Val ever experienced was their weekly sparring session outside the castle. Val insisted that she and Kenna keep their fighting skills sharp and Kenna agreed on the basis that Val, occasionally, dressed for a formal event and acted dignified.
