Today people believe that he may have came up with this idea because of a historic hotel in Hollywood that once had stars on its ceiling with celebrity names. Because of E.M Stuart, this landmark is very popular in Los Angeles today. As time went on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame began to grow with the name of celebrities. In order for them to get their name on this landmark they must send and application and then get nominated by the selection committee of this industry. Being selected for the committee also requires a fee of 30,000 dollars. This includes the marker of the star and a replica for the celebrity to take home as well of a ceremony they make with bells and whistles. When The Walk of Fame was first created it was only on one side of the sidewalk, but as more celebrities wanted their name on this landmark they used the other side of the sidewalk to continue the expansion of it. He made Jewish people wear the star of David on their arms and if they owned a business, they had to put signs in their windows saying that they were Jewish. The Nazi party used Jewish people as a major scapegoat for their economic issues like the Great Depression and World War Two.
