“The place that I found for my scavenger hunt adventure is the place were you could get fit and exercise is the gym . The name of the gym is called just lift is a great place to take all the stress out when ever you have a bad day your tired from work, and school . For example you feel great getting a work in getting your blood flow going getting all pump ect . The just lift gym the building is 102 the location Is in Hanford I use the Hanford map to find my location and the location is 522 w. 7th street .The building pretty big from inside and outside is a two story building . How many people could fit in the just lift gym like 2 thousand people that goes 6 days a week . The just lift gym is near by the shell gas station there’s like 2 houses behind the gym. Also there another gym cross the street call in-shape but its pretty small I been there once I didn’t like it there was not that much equipment there it was really small from inside. So yeah the just lift gym in Hanford is better. Is a nice part of town for the just lift gym is the best gym in the valley.
The gym open twenty four hours seven days a week it does get pack only on Mondays and Tuesdays the rest of the days there only like several people at the gym. The manger matt is really cool and nice the best manger like if you lose your phone he will ask the trainers to put in the front counter who ever lost the phone. However In my scavenger hunt I found that the gym was build
Upon arrival, I estimated about 15-20 personal scattered throughout the room on various body equipment. I noticed that I was the youngest person there; everyone else (by the looks) was ranging from late 20’s to early 50’s. The first significant aspect that I always realize is that there are more males than females, typically a 4:1 ratio. The diversity of race/ethnicity was noticeable but not really a concern towards the atmosphere of the gym. Before I started the observations I did run on the treadmill so that the gym visit wasn’t a total waste. Afterwards, my observation was done in the corner with the mats, while I stretched for twenty-five minutes.
Advertising plays a huge role in why people buy what they buy. This paper will discuss the different techniques used by brands in order to appeal to the intended group they are targeting. Some brands try to appeal to the most amount of people possible. However, some brands have a specific niche of people they try to appeal to. McDonalds is an example of a brand that tries to appeal to everyone. It has a general message that everyone can get behind, and they market it correctly. This is why they are one of the biggest brands in existence. However, Gymshark is a brand that tries to appeal to a specific niche of people. Their goal is to be the next Nike. They try to appeal to athletic people, who workout very often. Their products are similar to Nike, but they are specifically

“Mobridge, South Dakota, founded in 1906, is a city with a rich history and an economy driven by tourism and recreation.” (City of Mobridge, South Dakota 2016) Missouri River Pins and Pizza was built in 1998 to enrich the lives of the youth in Mobridge, South Dakota. It was a bowling alley until 2005, when it burned down. Many years ago, I remember celebrating not only my birthday, but many other of my friends’ birthdays there. They had the best pizza ever. When it burned down, it left and still leaves no place for the youth to gather. Mobridge no longer attracts many families and the youth are turning to crime as their only pastime it seems nowadays. The best solution to remedy these problems is to build an activity center attached to a fitness for all ages of Mobridge and surrounding communities to gather, keep obesity rate down and mostly keep the youth out of trouble.
The public weight room will not be our main source of revenue, but just another offering that will hopefully get our name in the community and draw interest in our other sport specific programs. Although the public weight room is not our main concern of business, it will be offered to anyone above the age of sixteen. Anyone between sixteen and eighteen will need to get their parents to sign a liability form before acceptance. This weight room will look to draw in the more experienced and serious strength training clientele and athletes who are serious about bettering their bodies, but do not or can not spend the money or time for the serious sport specific training which we, at Chi-Town Elite, specialize
My assignment is to write a critique paper on the facility named “Planet Fitness”. Planet Fitness is a gym that labels itself rather as a “fitness club” that aspires people of all ages, weights and heights to come and hit the gym. Planet Fitness promises a judgement free environment, allowing for even your most introvert and shy gym goers to enjoy their workout without feeling self-conscious because of other gym attendee’s opinions. On the workout floor, their facilities are equipped with mostly cardio machines, with some weight machines and an abdominal exercise area. Within the locker rooms, they come well equipped for serving mass amounts of gym goers at a time. The locker rooms include showers, sinks, and toilets, urinals in the male locker
Fitness is in. The percentage of people belonging to health clubs and gyms has doubled over the past 20 years. More growth is expected, fueled by an aging Baby Boomer generation in search of eternal youth and the reality that regular exercise can prevent or control diseases that are driving health care costs relentlessly upward. The 24/7 fitness opportunity is the newest model of fitness centers today.
Americans love their sports. People are constantly watching games like football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball live and on TV. There are many factors that go on during sports that keep them going. We all know about the coaches, players, fans, referees, and team owners, but on of the most important part is sometimes forgotten. That part happens to be athletic trainers. Athletic trainers make sure the athletes stay in good health and make sure that athletes recover from injuries so that they can return to the game. Athletic trainers also help prevent injuries from happening. Being an athletic trainer is a career path that involves many years of education and practice. Athletic trainers seem to go unnoticed at many sporting events, but in fact, have to go through tons of education and training and are a major part in health in sports.
Crossfit Hanford is your typical and not so typical “box”, situated in a warehouse type building, you’ll find rigs, bars, medicine balls, rubber plates, and padded floors, typical Crossfit stuff. However, when I got there it was transitioning to new ownership, everything was under construction, and essentially it was a business on the move. I did find something unique in this box that might be hard to top, the people. In a small city like this, people do have a slower pace of life, they are more interested in peoples’ stories, and I found everyone to be completely

Bob’s Gym is a full service, 24 hour fitness facility established in 1991. Not only does Bob’s offer a fully functional weight room, track, and cardio machines, the facility is also home to many other exceptional fitness options such as swimming pools, basketball courts, exercise classes, freshly cooked meals, protein products (shakes, bars, chips, etc.), spas and much more. In today’s busy world, it can be hard to find the time to even think about one’s fitness, let alone actually do anything to maintain it. The average person has school, work, family, pets, and many more distractions in their life to ensure their fitness is left on the backburner. However, when the thought of exercise does eventually enter their mind, the thought that often comes forefront is that of the gym. The concept of a gym is simple, populate a building with the necessary equipment for a variety of physical activities, attracting people who want to get that perfect body or even just get back in shape. However, many people who have never frequented a gym often come up with a plethora of reasons not to go.
As I got an invitation to go to open gym with my friends, my main thoughts were, “I hope I can get some new skills tonight.” Little did I know, my thoughts about four hours later would be, “I have never been so upset, angry, or disappointed in my life.” As I walked into the cold, noisy gym, I was prepared to achieve my round off back handspring back tuck. I assured myself that I would be able to do it successfully. I wished that the ground was as soft and comforting as the dark trampoline with orange and blue bumpers. Seeing girls doing back walkovers on the thin, beige, four- inch beam, swinging their bodies around the slippery, uneven bars, and flipping themselves into the sky blue, squishy mat made me tell myself, “If they can do that,
Because I have used a gym before, I was able to put together a list of criteria for my new gym very quickly. With the help of online blogs, the experience of my friends and my past experience I was able to make an evoked set of gyms quickly. I visited both potential gyms (evoked set) and made my final decision based on what I felt on the day. See Figure 3
