For a minute I want you to imagine that you walked into a gym to take a class that you know that you’re going to love. You get there, it’s not the same person that you are use too. It’s a new instructor someone that you never met, you’re ready to get started with the class and find out that she very quiet, very timed and quite. You are not so sure if this going to be good so you think it time to do something else. Then she say something that catches your attention so you stay to find out it the best class you have taken in a long while. Now getting to know your instructor I little bit better. You find out that this something knew to her, that she hasn’t done before so she is nervous. So you want to do a little bit of back ground. You find out that Lorin was not interested in fitness and nutrition intel she got in high school. She was curious on how she could live a better, and healthier life. She was tired of the same old things that she was eating and started doing something about it. The way she did it was learning what she could do make things better for her but also for her family. Lorin graduated from high school and continued her education in becoming a nutritionist, but knew she couldn’t stop there so she learn more about fitness and learning every day. By doing so she has learned that this makes Lorin happy, and would like to pass that along. Going to an everyday life of nutritionist and a fitness instructor you would think it could pretty boring. I don’t think so with a one year running around and keeping you’re on your toes. That not it, think about all the clients that Lorin meets with on daily bases. Classes that have to be taught, also lesson plan hove to be fought out. What lesson plans? Yes, you want to make sure that you are using the correct muscles at the right time. What is it call? Prime movers is where you want to move first for example your chest. The second one is the assistant prime movers, after working your muscles in the chest then you would move to your triceps, the reason for this is so they don’t get tired out as quickly and helping build your body equally at the same time. This assignment and the first 4 units of this course will assist me in becoming a healthier person not only personally but also professionally. I have struggled with my diet the past few years, either consuming to much or to little, ultimately eating not very healthy. My goal is to eat from each food group the best I can and to eat the portion sizes that is needed for my body. I am going to try and change my eating habits to create more positive choices for myself. Junior's first basketball game was against Wellprint High School. When Junior went to Reardan he moved down the totem pole in Wellprint. Which comes back to what Gordy says "Well, Life is a consistent struggle between being an individual in being a member of the community" (132). When they pulled up he walked inside and heard people chanting "The Rez basketball fans were chanting, "Ar-nold sucks!""(143). " as I ran onto the court, somebody in the crowed threw a quarter at me. AND HIT ME IN THE FRICKING FOREHEAD!"(145) " they drew blood. I was bleeding. So I couldn't play." (145). He loses confidence when this happens he feel like if he never went to Reardan this would've not happened. He is still unsure if he made the right decision.

There is really no definite explanation for what a happy and healthy life consists of. People may create a list of qualities that one desires for a “good” life, though many may come from a bad source. Profound philosophers Jean Kazez and Chris Heathwood developed both subjective and objective theories to help define the true meaning of a substantial life. Jean Kazez was responsible for the objective view of well being, where life requires fundamental goods or necessities for a good life. On the other hand, Chris Heathwood explained in a subjective view that satisfying your desires will promote well being. In the movie, D’Jango Unchained, two black men, Stephen and D’Jango, experienced contrasting lives and confronted each other at the end of the movie. During the time period the movie transpires in, it was extremely rare for a black man to have a “good” life. Most black people were made into slaves, but both Stephen and D’Jango had better lives. Stephen had a bad quality of life, and D’Jango aspired to live a “good” life based on the objective and subjective views of well being.
What is wellness? “Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy life. Wellness is also a process for change and growth” (Health Topic – What is wellness?). To have acceptable wellness you should have an equal amount of social, emotional/mental, and physical health. I, myself, believe that I have an okay wellness, I mean not like full wellness but just enough to pass I'll say. But how am I living in wellness?

In today’s world, humans are often misled on what really is a good life. We are constantly shown through the television and magazines that being rich and famous is the way to go when it comes to a good life, when in truth many of them are miserable by problems that usually wouldn’t affect the common person. Relaxation is necessary in one’s day to day active life. A person must work hard but his energy is limited, and if he spends too much of it he will soon feel tired. Even a machine cannot work for a long time at a stretch and it is given rest at regular intervals, otherwise it gets out of order. To move out of our daily hectic schedule life or more specific to relax, we need to perform several activities of our choice to get relax, which also provide amusement, benefit to us.
