I have been assigned the task of designing an Active Directory structure for a financial organization consisting of ten sites throughout the country; with each site have five major departments. Each site will have its own domain name, with New York, NY being the Forest Root Domain. The five major departments of the sites are Financial, Sales, Call Center, Information Technology, and Project Management. Active Directory Structure The chart shown below outlines the process for designing an Active Directory structure. Domain and Server Names With the New York, NY office being headquarters and the Forest Root Domain with the domain name being NationalFinances.com, each of the other sites will require their own domain name.
