Advantages of EMR to patients include; access to good care, saves time, effective retrieval of patients’ vital stats, enhance patients’ portals, reduces billing errors and improve interoperability. Firstly, there is improving access to good care, by this means, patients can now enjoy quality healthcare after the implementation of EHR software. Therefore, physicians are now able to diagnose patients more effectively, less time spent in suggesting medication, reduce manual prescription process, and focus more on the patients’.
