How different would your life be if you were able to start a home business or get employment working from home?
It 's a dream for many and, although not everything can be done from a home office, with technology and the ability to outsource, it can become your reality. Even if you don 't want to actually start a new business, many company and corporate jobs can now be performed from a home office. I have spent the last 30 years working from home, earning a great income and being a stay at home mom.
Benefits:
No commuting - say goodbye to driving daily in poor weather conditions and heavy traffic.
Flexible work schedule - although not optional. You must keep yourself accountable.
If you have your own business, you choose your rates and what your work is worth.
The ability to be a stay at home mom.
As a nation, we are slowly getting further and further into debt. If you were to start your own business, or even if you took on a part-time work from home job, how much difference would an extra $400 a month make in your

Self-motivation is probably the biggest obstacle most online students will encounter. Working from home offers many benefits, such as doing class work in your pajamas and not traveling in inclement weather, but a major drawback, is all the

Do you work from home as an online marketer? Then I don 't have to tell you how easy it is to get distracted. And when you get distracted, it really cuts into your productivity.
Organizations allow remote access to their internal environment for several reasons. For example, working from home provides a greater freedom regarding work hours and locations. Most importantly employees tend to work longer hours from home than from the office (Doyle, 2017). Remote work forces employees to be more independent and self-directed. This means that working from home increases employee empowerment and makes you more productive because there is less distraction of the usual office space. There are also benefits to employers. For example, according to Doyle (2017), telecommuters tend to be happier in their jobs, and are most likely to stay with their company. It also saves

Considering the fact that one will have to fuel his car or board a public transport utility to reach his work destination, those working at home cut on travelling costs. They are also saved from the stress that comes with having to commute everyday to and from work. They also do not have to relocate as is the case with people who get transfers to work in different locations. Teleworkers also feel some sense of autonomy as they don't have to be micromanaged by their team leaders and line managers. Besides, they have got a very flexible schedule. The only thing that they worry about is beating the deadline.
Matt Bai, (2007), Political Writer for the New York Times (NYT), states that “in [Mark Penn’s] new book, “Microtrends”, [Penn]…notes that 4.2 million Americans now work exclusively from home (a nearly 100 percent increase from 1990), while some 20 million do it part time. Some of these workers are employees who telecommute to traditional offices, but most represent a kind of modern, untethered American work force”. Bai goes on to say that “[these people] do most of their work in the comfort of their own homes, or in their cars, or maybe at Starbucks”. One question that needs answered is if a person wants to work from home and their job duties allow them to work from a remote area, then why shouldn’t companies help the employee make this happen?
