The ceremonial of my President Donald Trump greatly appreciated to make America Sane Again .depicted poise and perfected position of power. I am excited and encourage to work diligently and write letters to streamline government to the bone. In his speech, he stated that his administration encourage engagement and he works for us! I have a fresh outlook and with renewed energy ready and able to challenge and express my view to an outsider. Trump supporters would do well to remain vigilent always on guard and protect the unleashed forces from his administration, which serves to protect our nation. Globalization the enemy capitulating our authentic identity to a few. Furthermore; Mad Dog Mattis approved and Kelly confirmed makes my day
September 11, 2001 was a tragic part of history for the United States of America. On September 11, four planes crashed down by hijackers at the Pentagon, the Twin Towers, and a Pennsylvania field. The Pentagon and World Trade Center were the primary buildings where the Al Qaeda wanted to attack. The White House was another target, however they never made it. Later that night, President George W. Bush gave a speech about 9/11 in the Oval Office. George W. Bush inspired America of their safety and security of his confident tone, religious beliefs, word choice.
First looking at President Bush’s speech, the overall situation being shared throughout this piece of work is that the incident of 9/11 was a devastating tragedy and we should always remember it as a reason for why we should continue to stay strong and surpass the limit. Although Bush never did say all this, but he reflected the idea in we should never feel at complete sorrow whenever we remember this incident, but instead, feel the need to improve and advance to prevent this act of terrorism. It is never a wise choice to sorrow over a problem and leave it untouched. Ever since the incident of 9/11, the United States of America has excelled and advanced ever since in order to prevent future terror-influenced acts.
President Obama seems to be a contemporary master of Rhetoric, captivating multiple audiences at once while seamlessly following Cicero’s six parts of speech, but to what effect? In 2013 it was imperative that President Obama connected to multiple facets of people. We saw the beginning of a divided America during this time. Today, we only see this country more polarized. It is nearly impossible to get every family member to agree on a political topic, let alone a whole country. In that regard President Obama’s mission look insurmountable. Though, through the organic weaving of his audiences he attempts to accomplish to impossible. Throughout his speech broadcasted to the American public regarding 2013’s Syrian Civil War, President Obama
During a period of history when the United States of America experienced its first act of terrorism, on September 11, 2001 four hijacked airplanes, navigated by Al-Qaeda terrorists flew directly into the Twin Towers and attacked the Pentagon. The nation experienced an abundance of emotions; grief, fear, despair, etc. To keep the nation in control, and provide a sense of comfort and security to citizens who are scared and worried about the outcome of their nation, President Bush addressed a speech to the American public. The use of rhetorical devices allows Bush’s speech to be effective by providing a sense of comfort and security to his grieving nation.
In a time of transition for the nation, Trump tries to leave the audience with a lasting impression. By saying, “So to all Americans in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words; you will never be ignored again” there is an undeniable sense of hope. Trump’s final words are the most important because it concludes the message of hope and unity (Trump Inauguration Speech, 2017).
In his speech titled “Donald Trump RNC Draft Speech,” given in Cleveland to the Republican National Convention on July 21, 2016, Republican nominee Donald Trump attempts convince Republican delegates and others watching to elect him to the office of President on the United States of America based on his assessment of the US’s problems, the failures of Democrats, notably Hillary Clinton, and his plans to right the nation. Donald Trump accepted the Republican nomination for president. Delivering a speech where he remarks the America's struggles with crime, terrorism and immigration. He plans to address them. Trump then states that Democrats are not truthful they democrats are full of lies and he gives an example saying that he presents the facts of what is occurring in and how he would fix it. Trump argued that the United States declined by the Obama administration blaming democrats and immigrants and Hillary Clinton. He gives to the audience a vision of how America is in chaos. The US has problems with crime, immigration, unemployment, and foreign affairs. Trump use emotion in the speech by saying that Hillary has done a horrible job a secretary of the state. Trump’s plans. Hillary is a criminal. the election system is rigged. Trump will fix crime, the economy, education, and equality. He compares himself to Hillary by saying that she created the terrorist groups. Trump said that he would fix tax laws, education, vets, Supreme Court, religion. reinforces plan. Make America Great Again (Trump). While Trump is an expert on the economy, because of his exaggerations, intimidating language, and exposing his political opponents, his speech is an ineffective argument.
Donald Trump, a once controversial political candidate, gave his 2017 Inaugural address on January 20th, 2017 when he was inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States. Through appeals such as syntax and diction, religion and patriotism, and logic, Donald Trump was able to generate a unifying speech toward his audience. Amidst the growing violence and repercussions of the 2016 election, Donald Trump, in his 2017 Inaugural address, sends the message that he will put America and its citizens first to unite the country and change America for the better.
Trump’s highly anticipated speech was both emotional and controversial, thus making it a memorable speech. Although his speech is less poetic compared to his predecessors, Trump’s point was to attempt unifying Congress in order to make his vision of America into a reality. I think that Trump ultimately said what people wanted to hear. The fact that he used a conversational tone and not an overly formal tone speaks volumes. Although his stance is firm in key aspects of his campaign such as securing the country’s borders and repealing obamacare, there were certainly some statements that took me by surprise. By far one of the most astounding declaration was when Trump revealed, “My administration wants to work with members in both parties to
The purpose of George Bush’s speech is to justify his future military actions and to unite the Americans by appealing to their emotions. Bush used a variety of emotive language and stylistic devices to express his concern over the incident for the audience.
President Donald J. Trump’s inaugural speech was quite unique and for the most part inspiring. He addressed ‘the people’ several times and talked about giving the power back to the people. His tone and demeanor gave off a very patriotic vibe that gave listeners the reassurance that even if he wasn't the president you were hoping for he’s very passionate about this country. Instead of President Trump saying ‘I will do this’ or ‘I will do that’ he used ‘we’ instead which gave off the comforting feel that we are all in this together.
This further validates what I have been posting for about a month now. Since Trump has refused to work with leaders of his own party to reduce the rhetoric in most of his speeches. Nearly every week Trump insults large groups of people and has even attacked Republican Governors with very dated statistics that in cases were caused by their predecessors. What many party leaders know is that unless Trump changes at least a bit, they'll nearly practically hand the White House back to the Democrats. Trump refuses to listen thinking that he knows best. At what point does he face reality and see that support from many Republican voters is declining.
The State of the Union Address given by President Barack Obama on January 12, 2016, has a confident tone. Throughout his speech, Obama references the strength and influence America has on other countries. The dominant and assertive diction and sentence structure used by Obama is confident, which leads to a powerful climax, “The United States of America is the most powerful nation on Earth. Period...when it comes to every important international issue, people of the world do not look to Beijing or Moscow to lead — they call us” (Obama). Tone is a speaker’s attitude toward the subject and audience. By including a confident tone in his speech, Obama was able to directly orate to the entire country his point of view on the country’s presence and
Trump’s language may not be as descriptive as that of reporters and those who write short stories, but he certainly gets the point across to his readers who understand the atrocities he is referring to. In addition, Trump speaks about lack of respect and honor toward military personnel, the gross mistreatment of the elderly, and his thoughts on the current immigration policy. His views, as expressed in this speech, are that citizens of this country should be protected from assaults on their safety, basic human rights, beliefs and dignity.
This expression is complimenting utterance that maximizes praise of other. He talks pleasant about Clinton. It means that Trump’s utterance does not humiliate Clinton’s campaign. Trump’s utterance above makes the hearer feels happy to hear it. This is because it contains approbation maxim. In the utterance, Trump decreases the dispraise and increases the praises to Hillary Clinton. Then, Trump shows his respect to Clinton. Therefore, the utterance above can be said as polite utterance because it belongs to social-distance
I sincerely hope that you and your family are well. I truly mean that, sir. Congratulations on your inauguration as our 45th president. While I didn't vote for you, still you are my president. Incidentally, the First Lady, Mrs. Trump, looked stunning in blue. And one of the brightest spots in your administration is the First Lady putting her mark on the White House and the country.
