In conclusion, I did find this movie to be interesting because I had no idea that how crazy Star Trek conventions could be, and the fact that it was mostly adults surprised me. In Sure Thing, Ives uses many literary techniques to portray the value of language as a main theme within his play, including minimalism, symbolism, and repetition.
