In order for our youth to have the best education possible, there needs to be people that are willing to work with them and push them at a young age. They will need to be able to help them when asked and be patient when they're struggling. They will have to be able to talk to the parents and treat everybody equally. An early childhood educator will need to do all of theses things at once in order to offer the best education possible.
With a degree in early childhood there is a wide variety of things that you could do. Careers that are directly related to early childhood are: Early years teacher, family support worker, learning mentor, primary school teacher, secondary school teacher, special education teacher, social worker, teachers assistant, and a youth worker. With this degree these are the carres that you can get or you might need to have.
If you have the degree there are some careers that it will help you with. Such as: child psychotherapist, child's nurse or pediatric doctor, community development worker, school counsellor, educational psychologist, speech and language therapist. My experiences working with children officially began in 2012 when I started working for One of A Kind Progressive Early Education. I worked with children of all ages, primarily toddlers and preschoolers. While working at One of A Kind, I assisted the lead teachers as much as possible. I helped develop daily routines of activities, lesson plans, nap, and toilet-training times that seemed most effective for the students.
