Thank you for your interesting statement, “the qualitative approach to developing and using scenarios is intended to provoke insights through conversation and dialogue about the difficult issues facing the organization, and the often-opposing viewpoints on the issues that exist within the organization” (Chermack, 2006). I want to add insights about conversation to your post. Conversation primarily has dual actions of behavior and purpose because leaders and teams have to communicate things, change certain routines and that means a change in their behavior. Lacking this behavior, changes would not exist and would inevitably increase organizational conflicts. As organizations connect with new wisdom, they also need to ask their teams to listen to their thoughts and observe at their behaviors, beliefs and ethics. Eisenberg & Goodall (2010) explain “how communication should be deep-rooted and contemplation not just a bunch of major concepts.” Good communication skills are the basis for organizations to succeed in almost every situation. By becoming acquainted with that assessment, one must realize that every team member has a unique personality and communication style. Burton, et al, 2011) asks two important questions: “What are the structure and incentive of communication?” “Communication is a joint activity” between all teams while shaping the scenario planning (Cornelissen, et al, 2015). In a scenario planning, all teams need to know how to communicate to each other for maintenance of alignments. Disintegration in the communication can spell multiple misalignments usually in all organizational departments involved. Therefore, having a communication with all teams involved does impact the scenario planning
