Erickson believed that child development lasted the entire life span. The physiological development of a human can be shown and used in its entirety. The first four stages are more prominent to Early Childhood Development. Stage one focuses on the infant’s ability to build trust with one another, in a classroom situation the infants learn to play with other children in order to gain “hope “of learning something new. Stage Two is where the child wants to be independent. When a teacher want to help with art the child says “no thank you” and does their best. Stage t\Three is where the child begins to feel Purpose towards and around others. The children play with one another in order to learn and grow. Stage Four is where the child learns to write
