Alexis feels a little uneasy when she sees Kasey turning prettier and prettier each day in addition to her being friendless since the beginning of the book and the next thing you Kasey is in the middle of the popular girls. Alexis is really suspicious about how Kasey changed in only a matter of weeks she later finds out that Kasey joined the Sunshine Club so she joins as well. Than she finds out that you have to take an oath to be a part of the Club and that a spirit by the name of Aralt is controlling these girls bodies to make them good-looking and to also give them whatever they desire, but Alexis can’t wrap her head around why a spirit who died over a 100 years ago would want to help these girls, along with how he doesn’t get anything in return. The cause of the problem was when Tashi had the book of Aralt and let Adrienne have it so they could make up the Sunshine Club together and prior to that more girls kept on signing up join the Club, and now since Alexis is trying to uncover why Aralt is doing this she later finds out that one Sunshine girl has to die in order to give Aralt more energy, but since then Lydia goes on and kills Tashi to be more connected to Aralt thinking he loves her and will protect her considering her bad home lifestyle although what Alexis doesn’t realise is that Lydia is trying to set Aralt free from the book which is another problem for Alexis because not only does she need to stop Lydia from setting an evil spirit out of a book, but she has to save a girl from getting herself killed just so all the Sunshine girl can be rich, beautiful, healthy, and also controlled, Alexis has to find a way to get rid of Aralt quickly before a “sacrifice” is made and she has little time since graduation is coming soon and
The young girl nicknamed Queenie, The 19-year old store cashier Sammy, and the store manager Lengel. The girl nicknamed Queenie by Sammy is physically described to petite with oaky hair and also to be very beautiful by the narrator. Since there isn’t much dialogue for queenie there is no definite personality that can be given to her, but by judging by her response to the situation in the story it can be inferred that she is a well-mannered young woman who has politeness as one of her virtues. She is a major character even though she only speaks a little bit throughout the entirety of story, Queenie is a major character because it is her need to get a grocery item that prompted the three girls to come into store, and also to impress her is the reason why Sammy quits his job at A&P. The next major character is Sammy. Sammy is a 19 year old cashier in the A&P store. Physically he is an average 19- year old but his personality differs a little bit because he is heavily observant of certain things and in this story he tended to be easily infatuated with a girl. The reason why he is a major character is because the story is based around him and he is the narrator and without him there would be no real story to tell. The last major character is the store manager Lengel himself. Lengel is an old man who like most other characters is not described physically, but judging by his actions we can infer that Lengel is either a power hungry old guy, or a guy who wants everybody to follow the rules no matter how big the diversion is. Lengel is a major character because of the fact that he is the person who starts the conflict of the story. It is his chastisement of the girls that starts the primary conflict of the story and this conflict is what influences everything that happens later in the story. There aren’t that many characteristics to place these major characters into a popular stereotype but from the information given and

The first major character is the woman. She is an upper middle-class Japanese-American housewife and lives in California. She is quiet, confident, and graceful, and keeps her inner emotional life to herself. Caring deeply about her absent husband and two children, she alone shoulders the burden of preparing the children to evacuate during the Japanese-American internment, performing the necessary actions with methodical determination and a bit of resignation to her fate. The woman is important to the story because she is also the main character of the book. The second major character is the girl. She is eleven years old and has long black hair that is always done up in braids and a bow. At the cusp of adolescence, she is inquisitive, friendly,
Life to me is a journey you never know where it may lead you! I have chosen to watch and research on the film ‘little miss sunshine’ as I believe it is a great example of journeys. The film Little Miss Sunshine, directed by Jonathon Dayton and Valerie Faris, is about a dysfunctional family that take a road trip to a beauty contest. Along the way to the little miss sunshine pageant, the family must deal with crushed dreams, heart breaks, and a broken-down Volks Wagon bus, leading up to the Surreal Little Miss Sunshine Competition itself.

Dr. Xing pulled the door of the 20th Avenue 86th Street Starbucks open. The warm scent of freshly brewed coffee hit her, warming her from the brisk New York City fall. The two stools located in the left corner, right in front of the window, decorated with reusable leaf stickers are always the first seats she noticed. Her first kiss, at precisely 10:58 p.m. on January 13th. What she had felt was just skin, nothing particularly special. Maybe it was the person it was with – Austin Cheng. He should be coming to the high school reunion tonight at The 21 Club, possibly with the same chapped, flaky lips she had kissed, and not to mention his tip toed walk, the one where he would tip toe after each step he took to make up for his 5’7” stature. What did he want to be? Hara Xing remembered him nearly crying when he thought he had no future ahead of him and nothing to contribute to help his hardworking mother pay for merely groceries.
Charlie is the main protagonist, he is depressed and sucidal. He is also very awkward and a over-thinker like the most of us. I realate a lot to him because i’m also at the stage in my life where i’m going into adulthood and don’t exactly know what i’m doing. I also like that Charlie changes through out the book, he becomes happier. The next one is Sam, Sam is a kind and supportive friend but you know that she has a rough past by the way she talks. She is also in a abusive relationship with a man three years older than her. As Charlie has romantic feelings for Sam he sees her as only good. That makes it hard for me to do a character analys on her because it was also some time since I read the book. The last one is Patrick, I think everyone should have a Patrick in their life. Even if Patrick had his problems I could always feel that he was a true friend. Patrick is being bullied but he still stays happy and shots snarky comments to his bullies. He makes it seem like he dosen’t care and that it is no big deal. Patrick is carrying a heavy secret and that is that he is gay and seeing a guy called Brad, but Brad is very deep into the closet with no thought of coming
