It’s evident that this has been one of the most divided and controversial presidential elections starting from the primaries all the way to the first and second presidential debates. Whether we agree with the candidate’s political views and methods of approaching the American people, and regardless of our personal opinion on the matter, it seems like both candidates have created an interest on this particular political event in the American people, this is best described in the iconic words of Isoroku Yamamotto “They have awakened a sleeping giant”. Whether it is for their popularity and controversy in the media, as it has been shown in the recent debates, they have helped shine a spotlight on the political process and with it, they’ve brought to the light an interesting group of voters, they’ve continued and some cases started a conversation on social and foreign issues, but more interestingly, in some way, they’ve shown how the American people thinks.

One of the things that Hillary is criticized the most, as it was pointed out by Trump in the recent debates, is her inconsistency on issues such as trade, foreign policy and even her perception on the Obama administration. Many individuals belief that this inconsistency could be reflected in her policy making process. Another way in which Hillary influences the political process would be by promoting policy that is directly linked to the interests of her many supporters as Trump pointed out in the second debate. In the other hand her experiences in foreign countries, and her experience in the senate brings with her the ability to make realistic proposals and educated policies to solve the issues that our society faces
