Food is one of the basic needs of human beings; it provides us energy that our body needs to work properly. Not only that, it also provides us a variety of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, and proteins that our body asks us daily to keep it in function. As time our alimentation has changed due to the demands of the modern world. People have less time to prepare a home cooked meal, and instead of it we decide to eat fast food, but did you know that eating fast food daily cause adverse health effects? A lot of people do not know that their favorite fast food contains huge amounts of trans fat, sugar, and sodium that if ingested daily could cause serious health problems. Although it not supposed any danger if we eat it occasionally, it can seriously damage our health if we eat it due that fast food does not provide us with the necessary nutrients that our bodies need. According to the National Bureau of Economic Research “Over the past thirty years, the prevalence of obesity and obesity-related diseases in the U.S. has risen sharply. Since the early 1970s, the share of children age 6 to 19 classified as overweight has more than tripled, from 5 percent to 17 percent, while the share of adults classified as overweight or obese rose from half to two-thirds of the population.
