I wanted to reach out and express my excitement for the opportunity to matriculate at Feinberg in the fall, as it has always been my first choice for medical school. However, in light of receiving a full scholarship from another medical school, my decision has become incredibly more difficult. I still hope to be able to attend Feinberg, but the grant award I received, although generous, does not cover enough for me to be able to afford attendance without personally taking on large quantities of debt. Thus, I wanted to reach out and inquire about the possibility of receiving additional scholarship funds. I would be more than grateful for any type of additional assistance that would allow me to attend. Thank you so much your
Receiving this scholarship will be really helpful and will relieve a lot of stress for me financially.

In order to fulfill my bachelor degree, I need this scholarship to pay for books, classes, art supplies, and living expenses on the campus. This scholarship will help me get a head start in college. It will also help me to reach my career goals in the medical field.
Hello Jennifer I apologize for the late response unfortunately I will not be able to attend GCU this fall due to my disability the University was not able to make accommodations I would not be able to commute. Despite the amazing scholarship and the wonderful staff I cannot move forward with enrollment. I sincerely thank everyone who tried their best to assist me. Thanks so much for the opportunity.
I am writing to you to explain why I am in immediate and dire need for funds that will assist me in continuing my college education at NAU. As a first generation college student, I have always had to rely on FAFSA and other types of financial aid to continue towards my degree and dream of becoming an educator. However, since I have completed my associates towards my degree in my hometown, half of the journey has already been completed. On the other hand, the other half is about to start, where I need not only more monetary funds to pay for university fees and tuition, but living expenses as well. I will be moving from my hometown to near-campus student housing, where there will be food and room
I would like to express my thanks to the Buster Bynum Education Scholarship for allowing me the opportunity for financial assistance through your scholarship program. Being the second child in my family to attend college, I know that college can be expensive. At the age of seventeen, I am the youngest of six children. I learned from my family that they will give me all the love in the world, but when it comes to money I have to earn it. For the past three years I’ve earned my gas and spending money working a part-time job laying sod for Mid-South Enterprises LLC. I am confident that my parents will help as much as they possibly can financially, but with the assistance from scholarships my out of pocket tuition cost can be less.
I am in a position where I am having difficulty finding the resources I need to finish my degree. I took about a year off from working to take care of my chronically ill father. In addition, I have recently been through a divorce and have a three year old child that I’m supporting. My income is not where it needs to be to say the least. I am also in a position where I don’t have a lot of federal aid in loans left to pay for school. A scholarship would help me to stretch the last of my aid to pay for my education. I would be putting a scholarship to great use and it would allow me to focus more on my education and be the best that I can be. I know that I will get through school one way or the other and that I will give back to Cox and the city of Springfield for taking a chance on me and helping me with my education. Springfield is my home and I plan on working as nurse at Cox for many years to come. A scholarship granted to me would help me to become a nurse and would be served back to the community through the skills that I will have gained through my education. I would be very grateful to receive a scholarship and would make sure that any scholarship granted to me was not wasted. I made the dean’s list fall 2014 and have been keeping good grades. I hope that Cox will consider be as a good candidate to receive one because I have great passion, have a passion to
This scholarship award has improved my experience at school over the past year by alleviating the stress and worry that would have been put on me had I not been able to afford to go to school. Due to the help that I was given through this scholarship last year, I was also given a boost of confidence in my academic abilities and was named to the Dean’s list for both fall 2014, as well as spring 2015.In the upcoming academic school year I will be starting my clinical classes. I am very excited for these because they will help me determine what field I want to focus on in nursing. However, for my sophomore year I have decided to live off grounds in an apartment with two other girls so I may have to pick up a part-time job. I feel that this is will give me experience in the adult world. My future goals are to continue with the nursing program and then to enlist in the
The generosity of the Coolidge Scholarship is a life-changing opportunity that would open doors for me, paving a way to my future. There are numerous dreams and wishes I have for the time ahead; among them being attending University of California-Berkeley ($60,000 each year), majoring in pre-med, minoring in business, going to Bastyr University for my ND ($40,000 per year) and opening private practice. If this sum for attending Berkeley were to be generously provided, my debt would be greatly reduced and guide me into attending medical school earlier.
I would like to begin by thanking the selection committee of the Paul E. Hostettler Scholarship for considering my application for this award. I realize that no one deserves to be handed awards, but that they must be earned. With that in mind, I humbly list my accomplishments, not to imply that I deserve a reward, but to demonstrate my work ethic so you will feel confident that your scholarship dollars will not go to waste. Throughout high school I have successfully balanced school and sports, maintaining a 3.9 GPA while earning varsity letters in golf, basketball, track, and as a manager of the football team. I accompanied my golf team to sectionals and districts all four years of golf as well as receiving all-academic honors and Miss. Sportsmanship
I am very grateful that the Trustees of the Harold Ferguson Scholarship have approved the renewal of the Harold Ferguson scholarship. The Harold Ferguson Scholarship will help me greatly in my upcoming sophomore year at Rutgers due to the nature of my classes and therefore am very appreciative. I apologize for not including my current address, which is: 105 Gregory Avenue Apt. D-10, Passaic, NJ, 07055. Furthermore, I feel disadvantaged as a result of my lack of volunteering experience this past year and understand the importance of giving back to the community; hence, I will soon start volunteering at Clara Maass Medical Center in Bellevile, NJ (currently in the application process) on a weekly basis to gain experience for my future in medicine
Second, over winter break you had mentioned that you desired to come to our class and discuss grants. The timing kept falling through. Would you still like to come and discuss scholarship opportunities with our students? We have a few days remaining, our school year ends May 20th and we would love to have you out.
This scholarship would have a positive impact on my education and help my mom pay for college without taking student loans. My mom has been a single mom for eighteen years and has supported me, my brother, and grandparents. She does not receive child support on a regular basis and does everything on her own. Unfortunately, my younger brother is an accident-prone child and has racked up some high medical bills throughout the years. For countless years she has worked two jobs to support everyone and provide anything within reason. My mom is currently unemployed due to the downturn in the oil field in west Texas. Now she has taken on the challenge of remodeling and flipping houses.
As I finish up my first year of medical school at TTUHSC, continued scholarship support will help me focus on my medical studies during my second year and decrease my eventual loan burden when I am a practicing physician. Also, I am currently a dual degree MD/MBA student, and as I receive my two degrees, I know that the value I receive from the knowledge gained would be put to greater use with the scholarship and the financial support that it provides. I greatly appreciate the support that TTUHSC SOM and the generous alumni provide to all of its students.
First, I'd like to apologize for trying to get a hold of you so much but I do have a concern with the grant application. I am a senior in high school with all my graduation requirements finished but I will not be graduating until the beginning of June. I am actually also graduating with an A.A degree in the beginning of May. Since I have all my graduation requirements met and just need to attend the ceremony to get my certificate, I was wondering if I could please still apply to the grant, it would be a massive help towards my education. Thank you for your time and this amazing opportunity. Have a great
