Our seven piece kit is being sold at the same price as those offered by Pearl and Tama, while our eight piece kit is $100 cheaper than Tama’s eight piece kit. Ours is $50 more expensive than Pearl’s eight piece kit; however we feel our product to be vastly superior to theirs, and therefore do not anticipate this slight difference as being problematic. We will also be offering out 100 kits initially to established artists as endorsements. These kits will be distributed, free of charge, to 42 pre-selected musicians, in the hope that by being used by these artists, other musicians who are influenced by these drummers will be eager to also purchase a kit.

Today, Bass Pro Shops is a multi-billion dollar enterprise that specializes in sporting and hunting equipment. The company's current position is a far cry from its modest beginnings in 1971 when the company's founder, Johnny Morris began selling fishing lures on just two shelves in his father's liquor store. With fifty-two retail outlets as well as a number of Outdoor World superstores in the United States and Canada, a user-friendly Web site and extensive mail catalog sales, Bass Pro Shops has become a leading sporting and hunting goods in North America today. To determine how the company achieved this impressive growth, this paper provides an analysis of Bass Pro Shop's corporate strategy using Ansoff's Growth Strategies and Porter's generic strategies for growth, the company's market segmentation and marketing mix. Finally, an assessment of appropriate Bass Pro Shop's marketing metrics is followed by a summary of the research and important findings in the conclusion.
My 2nd point is to explain how “modern” drumming began and what a modern drum set is ("Ringo starr," ).
When listening to “The Santé Fe Jazz Combo,” you get a mellow feeling that courses through your body. Their opener “Recorda-Me,” which was my favorite piece, featured solos from Dr. Hamilton on Piano, Spencer Hoefert on Guitar, Ben Salhanick on Bass, Doc B on Alto Sax, Wyatt Thomas on Trombone, and Noah Woolard on Drum Set. The song had a moderate swing tempo that kept your feet tapping up until the solo. First, the brass rang through their part, then the electric instruments. Next came the bass; he was strumming so fast but he was barely audible. The pianist busting through with a tricky piano rift and the drummer finished it off with an intense solo. Every rim-shot sent a jolt into the air like lightning and the buzz rolls sounded like thunder. Noah’s part reminded me why I love playing the drums.

Chad Smith started off when he was just seven years old. He always wanted a drum set but he couldn’t afford one. One day Chad Smith’s dad, Curtis Smith, got some old ice cream buckets that Chad Smith could bang away on. Chad Smith’s dad went out to the trash can and dug out these old ice cream buckets. Curtis Smith made the drumset of ice cream buckets for Chad Smith. That encouraged him to begin taking drum lessons in the fourth grade. When Chad Smith took drum lessons, he learned how to read sheet music.
Gene Krupa made contributions by running a school with Cozy Cole, running clinics, and running workshops. He also was associated with “Chicago Style” music. He was voted America’s outstanding drummer for his work (Fairchild, Frederick D.).
As I observed the stage I noticed that there were a variety of instruments played in the jazz ensemble. The instruments that were played included string (grand piano, electric guitar, electric bass, bass), brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn), woodwind (tenor sax, alto sax, baritone sax) and percussion instruments (six piece drum set, bongos). On the drum set was, special guest, Steve Houghton from the music school of Iowa.
Company started as a collection of one acts by George Furth. After asking Sondheim to look them over and Sondheim took them Harold Prince who thought they would make a great musical. The show was to be an examination of New York marriages. Company opened in April of 1970 and ran for over 700 performances and won 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical. While this was not Broadway’s first concept musical it was one of the first successful. It was also one of the first to deal with adult themes and relationships. At that time people usually went to the theatre to escape and Company was holding up a magnifying glass to everyday couples and their marriages. The climatic ending comes when Bobby’s heart has finally thawed and he stands on the precipice of his future ready to find his mate.

Yeah, as I said, I have in mind something with Kurt [Rosenwinkel]. With Louis Cole, a young Brazilian musician who is in Kurt’s Caipi band named Pedro Martins, and I don't know who the bass player would be… but it would be cool to have M'shell Ndegeocello and Ambrose Akinmusire on trumpet. Kind of a modern funk band with horns, two guitars, vocals, and crazy solos. Just an idea at this point, but I've already talked to Kurt, Louis, and Pedro about it, and everyone is in so
