Hall of Fame Songwriter J.D. Loudemilk Dies at 82
For the past 60 years, J.D. Loudemilk has been a huge part of the music industry. He is responsible for hits like "Indian Reservation", "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye", and "Tobacco Road". Sadly, the star passed away yesterday at the age of 82 due to complications of bone cancer.
Over the years, Loudemilk worked with some of the best artists in the business, including George Hamilton IV and David Lee Roth."
After hearing of his passing, Loudemilk's good friend Bobby Braddock wrote in a Facebook post, "John D. left an incredible trail of mega hits over several decades, going back to the 1950s. His uncommon brain was filled with amazing words and powerful music – or vice versa."

On May 26, 1949 a country music icon was born, but no one knew at the time. Hank Williams Jr, was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to a loving, country family. Hank Williams Jr, dad is Hank Williams Sr, who was also a country singer but died at a very young age. Hank followed behind his dad and looked up to him, so he became a country singer. He began singing at a young age, his dad died when he was four and he started singing at the age of eight years old. He pursued his country singing at a young age and appeared on the Grand Ole Opry singing one of his dad’s hit songs.

He then signed with Columbia Records, and began to perform in public places such as: colleges, festivals, and concerts. During his big comeback to fame, House had a new classic song called “Death Letter.” This song was right up there with “My Black Mama” and “Preachin’ Blues.” “In 1965, he played at Carnegie Hall and four years later found himself the subject of an eponymously titled film documentary, all of this another world removed from Clarksdale, MS, indeed” (Koda 1). During the early 70’s, House’s health had begun to disrupt his work because he wad diagnosed with both Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. He eventually lost his battle and passed away in 1988, but not before he was rightfully entered into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1980.

Another accident that I remembered. Karen singer Gangyi was one of my first male favorite singer. I started to noticed his amazing voice when I listened to one of the song that he covers. The song called "The Prayer"; he sang this song with his sister May. Sadly, not long after I heard his song; I heard he passed away during car accident.
