It is generally believed that a longer and happier life stems from living a healthy lifestyle. There are many ways that one can live such a life. Getting an appropriate amount of sleep is important to everyone. Without rest, the human body will not function properly. The immune system weakens and people are more susceptible to everyday illnesses. Also, a well balanced diet that incorporates all of the major food groups and doesn 't exceed recommended daily caloric intake is crucial in any healthy lifestyle. Along with eating well, one should get plenty of exercise. No one should jump headfirst into weight training or cardio before working on their flexibility.
