I am writing this letter to inform you that I have chosen "Business Administration" as my major. Since 9th grade, I have developed a keen interest in dealing with the numbers and studying business related terms.
The number of job opportunities in the business sector is increasing day by day. Many of the big corporate organizations are seeking for students with a business major. Business Administration major is not just only related to business, but all fields of commerce. The website misleads the audience by the main tagline "LOWER PRICE GUARANTEE" but the information is incomplete as the company fails to mention about the additional charges. For example, a jacket which cost $15 at the time of purchase, costs $25 at the final payment in addition to the shipping cost. Furthermore, the customer review reflects the negative comments about the site. For example- Trina a dissatisfied customer leave a view about a bracelet which she bought from this site and she says, "The quality is so bad, not worth the price paid." Similarly, there are a lot of other customers who have complaints about the quality of the cloth. The company is using unethical business practices to remain in the market for a long run.
However, in order to maintain its goodwill in the market, the company should reform its codes of conducting business and practice ethical ways. The website should provide clear and concise information about the shipping charges. For example- Fashionova an online clothing brand clearly states on its website that "Free shipping on all orders over $75 and above." Trend gals can also adopt similar strategies so that the customer do not waste their precious time creating an account and waiting for the confirmation. They already will be familiar with the taxes and shipping cost. The company should also focus on the quality of clothes and the way of representation of the products in front of the
Back in the early 1990's I acquired my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts Degree through LAHC's accelerated program. When it was time to pursue my bachelor's degree I could not decide what to major in. I checked out several colleges and when University of Phoenix came to my attention I met with their Administration department. They offered accelerated programs in business, business administration, etc. but while it was nice, it sounded very ridged and boring. It was also extremely expensive so I didn't move forward. Baldwin's article identified that the largest degrees issued in the 1990's were in business so it's all put in perspective now as to why the colleges were offering those majors.
This article “Students of Success” written by Lynn Cheney was very well written. Cheney’s point in this article is that students in liberal arts shouldn’t be over looked in the world of business. She explains that students in liberal arts have the opportunity to become anywhere from Management to the next president of the united states. People should understand that its not the field you major in but it’s the way you use your major. Cheney states that students who follow their hearts in choosing majors will mostly end up laboring at what they love.

I have met one of my achievements this year I completed and received my Associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting I believe what I get by achieving my educational goals is not as important as what I become by achieving my goals, and now my short term goal is to complete my Business Management Degree and pursue my long-term goal continuing my education by attaining the Bachelor and a CPA
Information gathered to conduct this research came from a variety of websites such as, the Express website, and other websites that leak information about the company and they’re well doing in the retail industry. The five main topics that will be discussed in this
For the general business courses, you have principals of Accounting 1&2, Principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Calculus for business & statistics and Foundation of Statistics. These are the core course for a business students. Along with general education courses usually for first and second years. Then comes more upper level classes along with your intended major. These courses are important; however, we seem to see a decline in performance concerning papers and written work.

The way I see it, business is what ties our world together. From the advertisement of the products on the shelves of supermarkets to the management of the employees who sell them, business is ingrained in every interaction we have. Without business, the world as we know it simply would not exist. I aspire to be an eloquent, well-rounded individual who effectively contributes to society and makes the world a better place, and I believe that pursuing a degree in business is the best way for me to go about achieving that goal. As I look back upon my time in high school, working part-time as a cashier at Scheels All Sports and being the president of my high school’s National Honor Society prepared me to be a dedicated, tenacious, well-spoken student in the Wisconsin BBA Program and future business professional.
In the article “Making college relevant” Kate quoted that even before the students arrive on campus, the students and their parents are increasingly focused on what would come after college. That is very true because parents have a lot to say when it comes to the investment they are doing and they want to know the outcome of it. My dreams have been to be a teacher, but everyone knows that teachers are not well paid and they have to work more than just eight hours a day. In the article “wealth or waste? Rethinking the value of a business major” by Melissa Korn she wrote that 20 percent of the undergraduates are business majors that is for every five undergraduates one is a business major, it nearly doubles the social science and history that are some of the most common majors. The top college degrees are business, social science/history, health professions and related clinical science, education, psychology and visual and performing arts. Many people have critiqued universities and their ethics of what the students have to be able to do to be able to be considered a good candidate for a

Early in their career, many people find it difficult to nail down a specific area of focus. They may be interested in a lot of things, including owning a business or managing a business. As a result, a general business degree makes sense. Instead of wasting valuable time enrolling in school as undecided, they can spend their
When making my decision for what major to take I needed to gather all the information I could on the respected majors that I would like to do. I n doing this I went to the Saint Leo website and searched all business majors. Once I found a list of all the ones that where offered on the university campus, I wrote them down on a piece of paper. The issue or
Currently, the number one, most popular major is Business Administration and Management, (princetonreview.com) so my choice of getting into business is one that is also popular among others, but not all use it for staring their own business. It is that starting a business, I wanted to know the most about, and there is a lot out there when it comes to information. As written by sba.gov "Starting a business involves planning, making key financial decisions and completing a series of legal activities." (sba.gov) This planning is really reliant on a ten step process of going through all this planning (sba.gov), as well as other important key areas that I didn't even realize made a difference.
Even after obtaining a degree, one should still expect to learn new things and to make the most out of experiences. I chose this article because it talks about a person’s experience after getting her degree. She talks about what one should not expect any major to be as easy as anyone says. She then goes into detail about her hardships of finding employment and what else she needed to do to acquire it. Then, she explains about her experience on the job and the connections she made to work her way up. Afterwards, she explains how it takes time, patience and effort in order to find success in your career.
