Hello Shirley: How are you? Below is the message from patron Glenda Mauk (bc #23219008283011) whose ILL item Walt's time by Robert B. Sherman (#33219073137249) was returned 1 day late because of the weather problem. Ms. Mauk believes that she should not pay $1.00 because the dangerous weather prevented her from returning the book. Therefore, do you require us to keep the $1.00 fine on her record, or shall we erase it? Thank you for your time,
You have probably already heard all about the Walmart stores that are going out of buisness. Not all Walmarts are closing but a nice amount of them are. I have to be honest, thought, I'm not really surprised. Walmart has never been my favorite store. It's the store I go to when no other place has what I'm looking for, and there is just not enough time to order it online. Or when I need to re-stock on my camping gear.
“It's kind of fun to do the impossible” is a quote by walt disney. I believe that anyone can achieve the impossible just by working hard. This leads into the song I chose “Hall of Fame”by the script, the theme of this song is encouraging yourself to do the impossible, will eventually lead you to the hall of fame. First, one of the verses says “you can move a mountain, you can break rocks, you can be the master don't wait for luck, dedicate yourself and you will find yourself standing in the hall of fame.” This tells us that as long as you believe in yourself you can achieve your goals. For me achieving, has always been one of my biggest goals, whether that be in academics or sports. But I have had people tell that I am not smart enough to get
Hello all my wonderful viewers aka Mom! I am so not exited to share my dreams or um goals or hopes for my blogging season ending in early June. I am so unfortunate to tell you my English teacher made me do this. So I will tell you what I plan to achieve. I first tried to think of something to do that wasn't just 3000 page views or 10 comments. I wanted to include my topic as well, however I found that whatever I might post would either not be achievable or boring. I went with boring, sorry. I want to get a good grade and finish my goal, then barely do anything to achieve my goal. DO NOT WORRY! My goal is boring, but my blog WILL NOT BE! I want to write of the best snacks in parks, the types of disney fans, and the changes with the company.
Hey, remember when Donald Trump was a nice person? Yeah, me neither. I find him being a presidential candidate is a joke. I’ve known him since June and he has shown me nothing but his true personality. As time goes by, I feel like I get to know the real side of him. Let me introduce you who he is. Donald Trump is a man who is passionate about his job, determined, immature, obnoxious, disrespectful, arrogant, ignorant, racist, sexist, selfish, inconsiderate and a rapist. Not only that, but he has impossible plans for the future if he ever entered presidency, but he does not know how to achieve them. Donald Trump shouldn't be the president because he is useless to us like how a bike is useless to a fish. Donald Trump is a fish bone in the throat,
Trump is a name with a lot of history and a lot of connotation that only continues to grow as Donald Trump runs his presidential campaign. With all the backing that he proclaims, Trump still shows alarming qualities for a man that could be rising to power. He shows inconsistency which alludes to a weakness of character that makes him a poor presidential candidate. He is widely known for his aggressive arrogant ideas, which appeals to come people, but major concern arises from Trump being unable to defend his own ideas and, when he is questioned about them, he turns tail and flip-flops his opinions. Being able to clearly and concisely present ideas and then defend them seems like an elementary concept of how to build a solid platform, yet it
The piercing, cacophonous wails of an ensemble of curious infants on a mission of exploration. Their small worlds shaken and their trust betrayed by the very caregivers who were supposed to provide and care for them; they have suddenly turned on them and replaced joy with immense pain and confusion (whatever happened to the Nightingale Pledge?). A newfound sense of curiosity suddenly replaced with a fear instilled upon them at an age when exploration is commonplace and discovery is supposed to be encouraged.
Well, here's the more detailed version for you (but not the super detailed version—that's over in the detailed summary linked at left). After months of separation, Rojack is finally fed up with his marriage to Deborah Kelly, a wealthy heiress, so he ends up taking out this anger in the worst possible way, strangling her to death and framing it as a suicide.
For both of my predictions I'm telling you who will be in the Super Bowl as this is not a prediction. I'm right a lot in case you don't know. We're lucky to have two championship games in which both should be exciting to watch. Pittsburgh has arguably the best running back and wide receiver in the league, along with a future hall of fame quarterback in Big Ben. An explosive offense with a young defense that has come into its own over the second half of the season. New England lacks an elite receiver to stretch the field after the injury of Rob Gronkowski, and the loss of Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins show that Belichick may have been too cocky as we see the lack of a consistent pass rush. With all of that being said, New England will win this
This movie is about Oscar Grant III, a 22-year-old from Hayward, California, and his encounters on the most recent day of his life, before he was lethally shot by BART Police in the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2009. The motion picture starts with the real film of Oscar Grant and his companions being confined by the BART Police at the Fruitvale BART station in Oakland on January 1, 2009 at 2:15am just before the murdering. The film demonstrates scenes of him and his sweetheart contending about Grant's current disloyalty. It later shows Grant unsuccessfully endeavoring to recover his employment at the market. He quickly considers offering some pot yet at last chooses to dump the reserve. Concede later goes to a birthday party for his
I am writing to you today because I have a problem with one of my neighbors. The owner of house number 809, Tim Johnson, has continued to disturb the peace in the neighborhood despite multiple conversations asking him to stop. Mr. Johnson is out in his garage with his bandmates every night practicing their awful music at way too loud of a volume. When they finish blasting music they get incredibly intoxicated by means of cocaine and alcohol. The problem is they take it out into the streets and cause a ruckus into the late hours of the night. I am tired of trying to get him to calm it down on my own and would like to formally request your assistance.
The officer swung his sword. He said,¨Lay down your arms, you rebels, or you are all dead men-FIRE! I believe that the British troops shot first. In the letter from Sylvian Wood, paragraph four, the British officer yelled to his men. ¨Fire!¨, he said. No one was hurt from the first platoon, but from the second platoon some of the colonists were killed. Now here's the proof why the british shot first.
It was late Saturday night, and I was scrolling through channels, and all of a sudden my childhood flashed before me. To hear the main theme song “Thats So Raven” playing out of my tv speakers; made me realize how much I missed The Old Disney Channel. I watched and cherished the moments of faces and theme songs that made my childhood complete that Saturday night; I’m 16 now, but I still watch Disney Channel. Just not the new Disney of course. From where I stand, the new generation of Disney is complete nonsense, but of course everybody has his or her own opinion, and it drives me nuts not to smack them upside the head and say “ What's wrong with you?
Walt Disney came up with the idea of Disneyland while watching his daughters play on the carrousel at Griffith Park. The very bench that he envisioned Disneyland on can be found inside the park on Main Street. The Happiest Place on Earth opened on July 17, 1955. The grand opening of Disneyland was a complete disaster.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the most divisive Star Wars of all time. At the moment, it is the worst reviewed Star Wars movie among audiences EVER. If you had a dime for every time I’ve said “I am not a Star Wars fan” you could buy a house in California. But I said that this time to point out a key problem in Disney’s Star Wars which is why I’m not focusing on characters like Luke and Solo which older fans know and love. I’m going to focus on the new generation of Star Wars Characters and how they have been failed by the brass of Disney.
Ta’shon Rain Little Light, a five-year-old living on Crow Reservation in Montana, complained to her mother that she had an intense stomach ache. Her mother took her to the Indian Health Service Clinic in order to seek treatment for her daughter’s pain; however, the doctor said that her child was depressed and that the stomach ache was all in the little girl’s head. After several months of visits to the clinic with no symptom relief, Ta’shon’s lung collapsed. Ta’shon was then airlifted to the children’s hospital in Denver where she was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. Shortly after, a charity sent the family to Disney World so Ta’shon could see her biggest dream, Cinderella’s Castle. However, the young girl died in her hotel bed the day her family arrived in Florida before she ever got to see the castle. Although it is hard to speculate what could have been prevented if the cancer was discovered months prior to her diagnosis, Ta’shon’s aunt believes that the little girl could potentially still be alive if her doctor would have been able to accurately determine the source of her illness (“Broken Promises: Reservations Lack Basic Care”). As tragic as Ta’shon’s story is, it is not uncommon. “You can talk to anyone on the reservation and they all have a story,” said Tracey Castaway, whose sister is in almost $50,000 in debt due to her late diagnosis of stomach cancer (“Broken Promises: Lack of Basic Care”). Thousands have suffered premature deaths due to the Indian Health
