Importance Of UNC Chapel Hill

I selected UNC-Chapel Hill because it is close to home, which is something my parents have a longing for, and because it offers many diplomas in contrasting majors. UNC offers 78 bachelors, 112 masters, 68 doctorates and seven professional degree programs as well as 70 distinct majors (www.unc.edu/academics/). This school would be an exquisite place for me to figure out my goals and accomplish them. UNC-Chapel Hill is the earliest state university in the nation, this university has over two centuries of history, including overcoming segregation and has information on all of its first African students in each major (https://museum.unc.edu).

Accordingly, UNC has a program for transferring students, that will allow my schedule to be official. There are some classes that I won’t be able to attend at first but applications are similar to that of regular students. To complete the application, I must achieve the following: The common application, $85 application fee, essay, two short answers, transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and a letter of recommendation (http://admissions.unc.edu/apply/transfer-students/the-transfer-application/). As a transfer student, my application and fee would be due around February, the other aspects of the full application process will be due within 2-3 weeks of me turning in my application (http://admissions.unc.edu/apply/deadlines/).
RCEC gives me an advantage in college. It not only covers some courses I need for my B.A. but also has a program to ensure that almost every student leaves with a scholarship. If I don’t get a scholarship I plan on using the money from my grandfathers will, which I can access after I receive my high school diploma.
Moreover, going off the idea that I do get a scholarship, I plan on living off campus. By
