As July quickly approaches and the Republican Party continues to self-destruct, largely due the 24 hour snake oil sales pitch of Donald Trump, a very small part of me almost feels sorry for the most delusional man to ever hit the campaign trail- Ted Cruz. After last week's humiliating 5 state loss, most rational human beings would decide that it's time to throw in the towel and call it a day, however, Ted Cruz has never been accused of being rational, or even human for that matter.
Cruz, a man who has about as much of a chance of winning the Republican nomination as Ben Carson has of becoming the new host of the Dr. Oz Show, is so deep in denial that instead of giving his concession speech, he comically choose Carly Fiorina as his running

At a rally this past Monday in Marion, Indiana, Cruz went head to head with Trump supporters who were so misinformed and bats#it crazy, they actually made the Texan Senator seem fair and balanced by comparison. Angrily chanting "do the math" and "lying Ted", the crowd pulled no punches as they demanded Cruz drop out of the race while singing the praises of Donald Trump, the only man they believe can save our country from ISIS, Illegals, and Muslims.
In response to the crowd's overwhelming fervor, Cruz tried to have a rational conversation with the group of fanatical Trump supporters, a move that may be his most ridiculous to date. Playing on the crowd's hate for the media and all things government, Cruz tried to manipulate the protesters' anger in hopes of turning them against Donald Trump and asked,
Ask yourself two questions: One, why is it that the mainstream media so desperately wants Donald Trump to be the Republican nominee? And why is it John Boehner supports Donald Trump?
A strategy that had little effect on a group of rabid supporters who are so loyal to the Trump brand, the bombastic reality TV show candidate could literally stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and not lose a single
Chris Christie just endorsed the Donald. Even after Christie is on camera saying he doesn't want an entertainer as a president and also they evidently ran against each other. John Harwood which seems to be a Federalist said the reason for the recent endorsement is “The both really like the spotlight.” They say that they also have the same view on Hillary Clinton and Christie thinks Trump has the best plans to beat her. The next topic of discussion was Trump and the other two Candidates Rubio and Cruz. Rubio and Cruz during the last debate kept throwing punches at Trump. Susan Davis a Congressional Reporter for NPR which is leading to the left side of the room says “This needed to be happening five to six months ago.” The majority of the speakers
On the issues, Ted Cruz holds many unique positions, often stirring controversy amongst Democrats and fellow Republicans alike. Ted Cruz identifies strongly with the Tea Party Movement, leaning to the far right on many social, domestic and international issues. He particularly emphasizes his bold stances on issues like fighting ISIS, reducing taxes, and lifting regulations on business. However, one area that Cruz is especially passionate about is the many social issues that are debated by American citizens. On gay marriage, Cruz has maintained that he as a believer in traditional marriage between a man and a woman. He sponsored and passed a bill in the United States Senate to leave the decision of marriage to individual state legislatures.
Ted Cruz has strong views on abortion. Americans tend to be more ambivalent. House of Representatives on Friday passed two abortion-related bills (Sept 2015) — one aimed at cutting federal funds to Planned Parenthood, the other at punishing doctors who fail to provide medical care to infants that survive abortion attempts.(Danielle Kurtzzleben)
Well, "The long-running “birther” controversy–a rather bizarre conspiracy theory which holds that President Obama was not born in the United States–refuses to go away, kept alive by business celebrity Donald Trump and other assorted critics," (UCF Today, David Houghton). Every four years, when the current president's term ends, new candidates to lead our nation arise. All of them are seemingly perfect, so how do you take down the competition? You make rumors about them. Ted Cruz is the most recent of these attacks, but all points of evidence show that he is innocent. The online news outlet "The Atlantic", says that Ted Cruz's mother was a citizen of the United States, therefore he was granted United States citizenship and did not go through naturalization. With these ideals intact, we won't lose very valid candidates to in our elections to misinterpreted laws in our
Ted Cruz resonates with the average American more so that any current candidate running for the Presidency.
Ted Cruz is a junior Republican Senator form the state of Texas, since 2013; taking office on January 3rd, 2013. Before he would become senator he would be working for a private law firm representing corporate clients (Eckholm, 2012). He would go on to run for Senator in the state of Texas and win, which the “Washington Post” would call his win the biggest upset of the 2012 elections. Coming form a very republican state such a Texas means that his stance on issue would be very involved with that of the Republican Party. Pro-life, traditional marriages between one man and one woman, and a very heavy supporter of gun rights, he votes strictly along party lines. Also, he would not be afraid to flex his muscles out on the floor, and would
Once he begins to appeal to the emotions of the audience, they forget that he has no credibility and are roused by his compelling arguments. He began the conversation by saying, “we’re gonna spend as much time as we need today” making sure that the audience knew they were the center of attention for as long as needed. Continuing in his opening remarks, Trump flattered the audience by saying he won the south states because “the evangelicals were so incredible.” Trump indulges the conscience of the audience with his flattery. The evangelicals that were listening felt important and crucial to the Trump campaign. At the end of the conversation Trump went as far to say that the evangelicals are “the most powerful group in the county” and that “there’s nothing more important to him than this group of people here.” This was just another dip into the audience’s ego and another vote for Trump on the
CNN moderator Anderson Cooper followed up, asking Cruz if he would support Trump if he would become the eventual GOP nominee. “Donald is not going to be the GOP nominee. We're going to beat him,” Cruz responded. “I think nominating Donald Trump would be an absolute trainwreck. I think it would hand the general election to Hillary Clinton. I don't want to see the White House given over to Hillary Clinton.”
Ted Cruz’s views on abortion include that planned Parenthood sells body parts of unborn human beings. He believes in allowing a vote to end Planned Parenthood's funding. He wants to prosecute Planned

Texas senator, Ted Cruz, won Iowa’s caucus vote for the Republican’s presidential race. Ted Cruz is in strong opposition in what Obama has done and has rallied voters who agree with him. His campaign promises to defend against terrorism and repeal Obama’s healthcare program. Many other candidates found it difficult to get a caucus vote and have decided to drop out of the presidential race. Former Arkansas governor, Mike Huckabee, dropped out of the race. Many of the other governors barely got support according to the recent Iowa
In March of 2015 Ted Cruz announced his candidacy. Since then, his names has graced numerous news organizations. Cruz speaks on behalf of passionate Republicans desperate for change. Currently, he holds the fourth highest polling percentage amongst the Republican candidates. Cruz can win because of his high voter demographic in large groups, campaign strategies, and his views on issues. Although, his campaign needs to improve in order to beat Trump, Carson, Rubio, and eventually the Democratic candidate.
Last Wednesday, Cruz tried to get the media 's attention away from Trump 's foreign policy address by announcing his Vice Presidential pick, his former rival Carly Fiorina. The move was seen as "a sign of desperate" according to many media pundit who questioned why would Cruz who was mathematically eliminated from becoming the nominee pick a running mate just three months before the convention. Cruz hoped the move of picking Fiorina, who became his strongest surrogate after endorsing the Senator before the Florida primary in mid-March would help with the moderate Republicans and woman voters. After announcing Cruz-Fiorina 2016, Fiorina campaigned alongside the Cruz, a mistake the Cruz 's campaign employed. Previous approaches in Iowa and Wisconsin used by the Cruz 's campaign would deploy their top surrogates in key suburbs as a divide and conquer approach. It wasn 't until Monday that Cruz 's campaign changed their approach but it was already to late when he failed to use
This article was written for the Omaha World Herald by Paula Dwyer of the Bloomberg View. This article was published in the tuesday edition of the paper on January 12, 2016. As the title suggests the article points out how Ted Cruz has flip-flopped on an issue conveniently before a major part of the campaign season.
Victor Cruz went through a situation that most college students go through their freshman year. Everybody party, drink, or do things they would not do around their parents. With them doing that, they will skip class and not do their work which lead them to consequences. Some people take their first year of college as a joke and that is exactly what Victor Cruz did. He could not keep his grades up and he had people trying to help with his classes but he just did not notice it. He had
