She had three siblings, a older brother, a younger brother and a younger sister. As a young child she always enjoyed reading books, anytime she could have her hands on a book she would. Her love for reading began to interest her in writing and found it hard to believe that writing was an actual career, which made her want to stride in becoming an author. Margaret had faced lots of obstacles on her road of becoming the author she is today. During her childhood she had lived with her parents, she was only exposed to the things they did for careers. Her father was a farmer like most of the men in their community and her mother was a nurse along with lots of other women in their community. There were only a few career options in her area, including teachers, dentist, housewives, store clerks and etc.. As a child she was never exposed to large populations they lived in an a small town with very few attractions and people. For her to have the dream of becoming an author it didn't feel real to her, she had never met an author besides the ones that were in the books she read. In her about the author interview for her book series, she mentions, ¨As a kid, I also longed for a career that I didn’t actually believe real people got to do. The far-out, only-in-your dream career I wanted was to be an author. All the grownups I knew were farmers (like my dad) or nurses (like my mom), teachers or dentists,

She became one of arguably best opera singers not only due to chance, but also due to her distinctive voice that separated her from the rest. She grew from obscurity to becoming an extremely successful soprano known all over the world, performing all over. Her life is an interesting one that deserves better insight in how she became as famous as she is now.
His tour of duty however is said to have influenced his dark worldview. The music he wrote was a big influence in the poems he wrote and they were often directly connected. It wasn’t until 1963 that Silverstein actually began writing things for children. Before this he viewed children literature as too sweet and condescending with nothing but happy storylines. He was finally convinced to start writing children's literature after he met a book editor named Ursual Nordstrom who told him he should just change the things about children’s literature that he did not like.

S.E. Hinton wrote her first book, The Outsiders, in 1967 at the age of 19. Before The Outsiders, she was pedestrian, but then became an eminent author; many of her books are still read today. An example of this is The Outsiders, which was an assigned book for me this year, almost 50 years after it was published. The Outsiders has themes like not judging by appearances and how people from different backgrounds are treated differently by society. It is about a boy named Ponyboy and follows a few months of his life.
She was very talented at art, and saw/read many books written for children or young adults. What surprised her is the fact that she never came across a book that was about characters in books coming out of their stories and breathing. She had often imagined the characters in her favorite stories as living, breathing people, and was shocked that no one seemed to be publishing anything like that. This inspired the main plot of the Inkheart series, which is about a man and his daughter who have the very rare talent of reading aloud in a way that literally pulls the characters out of a book and into the world that we live
