Justin Ross Harris, the Georgia man accused of purposely leaving his 22-month-old son locked inside a hot SUV to die back in June 2014, will return to the public eye after more than a year. Cobb County released records of the toddler's autopsy, but you would fine little new information on the medical examiner's report. They listed hyperthermia as the cause of death.
What did they find? During a re-creation of Cooper Harris's death, criminal law investigators used a slightly warmer day, but they found that the temperature raised to more than 120 degrees inside Justin Harris's SUV. Police indicted Ross September 2014 on charges that included:
Felony Murder
Cruelty to Children
Malice Murder
The prosecutors of criminal law have portrayed Harris

The murder of Leanne Tiernan was a high-profile English child abduction and murder case involving a schoolgirl who was abducted less than one mile from her home on the 26th of November 2000 in Leeds, West Yorkshire and subsequently murdered (Crime Investigation, 2015). On the evening, the 16 year old was on her way home from a Christmas shopping trip with her best friend, Sarah Whitehouse, when she disappeared (Crime Investigation, 2015). The girls had taken a bus into the suburb of Bramley but then parted company near Whitehouse’s home leaving Tiernan to continue alone towards her home (Crime Investigation, 2015). As Leanne Tiernan made her way home alone along an unlit path through an area of wooded wasteland known as Houghley Gill that she frequently used, John Taylor had been
The online documentary filmed by Frontline, The Killer at Thurston High, goes into the life of Kip Kinkel, leading up to him killing his parents, two fellow classmates and injuring 25 more. This film examines Kip Kinkel’s life, looking for clues that lead to him committing this mass murder. Areas that were explored such as his upbringing, social life, his hobbies, and events that led him to seeing a psychologist for depression. All of these areas that the documentary covered show a gradual, consistent build up in concerning behavior. This documentary shows that there were precursors leading up to these tragic events like the Thurston High shooting and the list of troubling behavior that can lead to this.
From approximately 8:15 to 8:30 a murder occurred at the Ellis household and Paul Dudden is the victim. Paul was ruthlessly murdered with a knife. He abruptly left dinner and walked right out the front door. After reviewing all the evidence it is clear that Miss Pettigrew committed the act.
Jeffrey Robert MacDonald was a U.S. Army officer and a medical doctor who was convicted in 1979 of murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters in February 1970. The reason why I chose this case is because this murder case is said to be one of America’s most enduring murder mysteries and the main topic of a best-selling book. Not only this, but I also chose this case because it took about 9 years for Macdonald to be finally convicted and the U.S army got involved and made their own investigation because they didn’t believe his story. This meant that this case had many twists and turns, making it a mysterious case that’s very intriguing and wanting to know more about.

Hey, Cory, I researched and found an article about a man named Harold J. Stewart, a 42-year-old high school dropout, who defended himself in a murder case in Prince George's County, whereas he was accused of beating a sleeping man to death with a baseball bat. (Casteneda, 2008) Stewart’s pro se trial only lasted three days; where is the fairness in this prosecution? The jury only deliberated for about an hour. It seems like Stewart never had a chance; considering, at the most, it takes at least more than a day even to hear evidence in a murder trial. It was faith because the jurors found Stewart not guilty of first-degree murder and not guilty of second-degree murder. (Casteneda, 2008) You know there is a saying a man who represents himself
Many could ask the question how a novel could lead someone to commit a murder. In the 1980’s this question swept through many individuals around the world. “Read The Catcher in the Rye, that is my statement.” These are words that came from Mark David Chapman after he took the life of Rock and Roll songwriter/singer, John Lennon. A&E produced a documentary about Chapman, the murderer of Lennon. It spoke about how and when Lennon was executed, the reasoning behind why Chapman did it, the childhood of Chapman, and other interesting facts that related to this tragic event. The way that A&E sequenced the events, helps the viewers to have a better understanding of what was going through Chapman’s head during, before, and after the murder was conducted.
Many people in North Carolina are outraged after a police officer killed a deaf man. The man, whose name was Daniel Kevin Harris, was driving on the freeway when an officer attempted to pull him over for speeding. Daniel did not know that the officer was trying to pull him over, and he continued driving. The officer followed Daniel to his home and shot him.
It has been five years today that my cousin Stacy Lynn Sparks was murdered. I always thought that something like this could never happen to my family. This is the first time that something so tragic has happened in my life. It will also lead me to pain and frustration years to come. The loss of her has had a great impact on how I live my life today.
Things were going great for Coleton and me and then I received the shock of my life. One morning as I stepped upon the bench, the bailiff went through his normal protocol and said the court will now here the case of Dante’ Morris.
What would you do if a convicted criminal’s guilt was being questioned? Would you have the urge to let your inner detective shine? If you are one of those people, the perplexity of this murder would be right up your alley. On January 13, 1999, in Baltimore, Maryland, 18-year old high school senior Hae Min Lee mysteriously disappeared after school, leaving her family and friends worried. Weeks later, on February 9, 1999, the innocent young woman’s body was found buried in Leakin Park. Many people, including the whole state of Maryland, pointed fingers at Adnan Syed. Syed comes from a traditional Muslim family, yet he did “American teen-like” things, such as dating and going to
No one was ever charged in the murder of rapper Christopher Wallace, aka. Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, but I will show how a suspect would be tried if there were such a suspect. But first I would like to point out that this trial would be a media circus. To begin with the suspect could more than likely end up being one or more LAPD officers, a fact that the FBI has suggested in their report on Wallace that was released in 2011 (Federal Bureauof Investigation , n.d.). Then there is the gang aspect, Biggie had ties to the Crips, which he had reportedly hired to murder rival rapper Tupac Shakur, who was himself a Blood, just six months prior to his own murder. Subsequently, since no one has ever been formally charged in this case,I will try to use vague wording when referring to the suspect, and I will refer to him by of name “Mr. Murder Suspect”. I use the masculine only because there were no female suspects.
