The movies stars Ryan Reynolds, who portrays Chris Brander. Chris Brander is a well-rounded character who somehow evolves as the movie goes on. Chris was in love with Jamie Palamino portrayed by Amy Smart; Jamie was a somewhat a flat character who did not change much at all.

His neighbor, Simon Bishop, is an artist and homosexual whose lifestyle is deemed unworthy of respect in Udall’s view. Bishop, who suffers repeated blows to his physical and mental health, career, and financial stability, remains unworthy of Udall’s empathy until his mind is changed by Bishop’s dog, Verdell, and Udall’s love interest, Carol Connelly. In contrast, Connelly’s family is shown empathy and granted Udall’s compassion almost immediately as he is able to see a direct correlation between his own interests and the Connelly ’s wellbeing. While his gift of a concierge physician for Connelly’s son, Spencer, is given so that Connelly will be available to attend to Udall at the café, leaving his ritual largely unaffected by the family’s struggles, there is still a sense that Udall approaches the two scenarios very differently as he does not bully the Connelly’s in the aggressive manner in which he bullies Bishop but instead employs a sort of compassion-charged

I first met Christopher Bautista at Welcome Days (orientation) for college, he was in my group which focused with people wanting to pursue mathematics and science. My first impression of Chris, was that he seemed like a very quiet and reserved person. When asked what he would like to be called he responded “Ice Cream Jimmy” this made me think he was the kind of person who likes to make others laugh. Four weeks later, I can still say we are adapting to the college life, yet I can not say I’m close to Chris, but I think I was correct about my predictions at Welcome Days. Over the weeks, I’ve noticed Chris is a reserved person, but once you get to know him, he starts opening up more. Now, let’s take a look at his top strengths: woo, communication, positivity, strategic, and restorative. I will get to analyze and understand Chris’ personality better through this paper, understanding each of his top strengths.
