Performing solo without Kanye West is probably a good idea for her to get all the attention that will be needed to kick off her career and giving her a place to compete with the big name artists. Lady Gaga is a well-known name and has a very strong way it positions itself in the target market. Lady Gaga is well known for her costumes that tend to be eccentric and catch the attention of many non-fans and fans. She has clearly made a name for herself because of the fashion statement she tends to make on and off camera. She truly knows what brand positioning is and has made that clear.

Her live performance of “Paparazzi” was ended with a standing ovation from the audience. The performance at the VMA awards sent her to the next level according to Cambell.
