You have made some decisions so far, and taken a step back from the process. You are ready to start again. So what now? It’s time to start giving serious work to the actual look and creation of the final artwork. Create means to make or bring into existence something new; to produce through imaginative skill. You are going to bring your new artwork into existence through your imaginative skill.
Before you start work on the final product, there are a couple more things to do in this process. Take the rough thumbnail sketches you have already created and begin to refine them and narrow down to the one you are actually going to use on the final product. Look at your creation with fresh eyes and as if you are seeing it for the first time. Analyze and question all of the parts one last time. Is there anything that needs to be redone or corrected? Have you taken into account all critiques by both yourself and others? Are there any last refinements that need to be made? And then keep plugging away till the artwork is complete.
Once you have finished some more detailed sketches and considered your overall layout, it is time to start having other people look at the work you have completed so far. There can be times that we get so caught up in our creation that we do not ask ourselves all the right questions or consider things we have not thought about so far. This is where getting some outside feedback can be extremely helpful. Ask your teacher, a fellow classmate, parent, or even someone who has no art background at all to look at your artwork. These people will eventually be your audience so get their feedback when you still have time to consider it and make changes if you agree with them. That is the great thing about feedback, it can help you in areas that may still be weak, but it is ultimately up to you to decide how helpful the feedback is.
After getting feedback and considering it, keep working on your final creation. Then take some time to consider where you are in your time frame. Are you on track to complete everything you wanted to? Do you need to

Large yellow school busses lining the streets, school parking lots filled with employee cars, and students walking to school with loaded backpacks; all signs that school is in session. With the excitement of motivated students filling the classrooms and sounds of young chatter in the hallways, it is almost impossible to think that anything could go wrong during the school year. However, in no time, a student is on the ground with a large gash down their leg and a broken arm. It was not clumsiness or mischief, it was the uneven blacktop that has been cracked for the past four years. This scenario could be an occurrence at many sites, however, with proper procedure, and maintenance, possible cases of negligence can be avoided. At Lakeside Middle School, the administration and custodian personnel conduct walkthroughs on a regular basis, yet there are still possible cases of negligence lurking in the realm.
Throughout the revision process, I had the opportunity to discover my voice as a writer and engage in the conversation that is academic writing. In my final paper, I tried to reinforce the idea of a roadmap to guide my reader along my thought process. During my Embedded Writing Consultant appointment, I walked through the guidelines of a roadmap with Amarachi, and she emphasized the importance of a roadmap in reorganizing my paper. I realized that I could clearly articulate what I wanted to state by explaining it to her out loud, but when I translated such ideas to my paper, the main point oftentimes became lost. You mentioned something similar in your feedback, as many of the points I made did not connect to my central claim. Recognizing that I needed to emphasize my plan and then carry it out, I rewrote my paper with this in mind.

Ill thinks long and hard about my opening sentence and after I’ve come up with a good one the words just come into my head and I type them. Then I reread them to make sure that they make sense. Since I’m still in high school I do think that my writing style really has room to grow as I discover myself and who I want to be. I’d say that my process could improve, there’s always someone can improve or makes themselves better. What steps and tasks will I have to complete? First I will have to find a system that will work best for myself, and I will also have to find time every month to sit down and make my schedule. I have begun looking on Pinterest at beginners ones, and have bought a sketch book and colors markers. I plan to wake up early the next few days and work on it at least one hour ever morning. But timelines are common projects to do in class, except this timeline was harder because it came with requirements, whereas my other teachers just said, “Just do whatever you want,” so this project really irritated me. However, I do like the colors of my title, but I dislike the loop on top, since it was cut off due to bad planning. I feel like I didn’t show what I could really draw, but I can only imagine how good my drawings would be, and then the instant the pencil touches the paper, it screws up my entire vision of my drawing. Adding on, I feel like I didn’t write as well as I could imagine the scene, rather I just added long words to make myself seems smart and educated. Last year, my memoir made people genuinely laugh at my situation, and I wanted to make people show their raw emotions reading my work, but we could only summarize our experiences, and even still, the short memoirs weren’t that good. The doodle a woman makes on her notepad while on hold with the dentist’s office is a creation, and therefore art. An incredibly complex and lifelike portrait that took months to plan and paint is a creation, and therefore art. One does not have to create within the confines of traditional artistic thought to be an artist. By looking inward within one’s self, finding inspiration from existence, and executing a work, one is an artist.
My second pieces of writings (two proposals) reflected my progress in the ability to to use feedback and revise my writings which was a course goal. In this case, many rhetorical strategies were employed. Revisions weren't as simple as changing grammar and using correct punctuation (although that was something that helped me grow as a writer). A change of style was implemented from my “Cornell-styled Box Project Proposal #1” to my revision. I also used feedback I received to rewrite many parts of my rewrite. Effectively using feedback has helped me move towards the course goals since revisions were never my strong point. This usually was because I never needed to do many revisions in high school and especially since high school was much easier than now.
